Yes it is, maybe use ideas from the playable advent mod, I'd suggest making it something to work for though, for example. Deprogramming an alien needs to be a shadow chamber project, and one that needs to be unlocked via dissection.

On top of that it's not a guarantee of success, the alien may die in the operation or just reject its own freedom and necessitate being put down, failure results in gaining some intel and a corpse.

lastly, not all aliens are eligible Andomedons are too specialized, and Chryssalids and Berserkers are too feral.

the exception would be MECs, and MAYBE Sectopods, Fultoning a MEC at least should guarantee it being easily reprogrammed into a SPARK
