This has been sending an error report to my game, before I even reach the main menu screen this mod has been causing the game to crash. For now I'm unsubscribing but I'm rather confused. It was working perfectly fine yesterday when I was playing with my girlfriend.

@Duelyst - Thanks for letting me know, Ill try and figure out what it is that is causing this, Im guessing it might have something to do with some of the new Effects I created.
I may not have implemented them right before so it might be fixed with this latest update, but Ill double check and see if that it what is causing this issue.

Ditto, mod is causing me to crash too. Can't copy from D: to C:, mod causes game to crash during the main menu loading screen

Ah interesting. I unsubscribed, but I had copied Holy_Hydrosophist_d7085118-9a12-4317-aafc-da003d70672a_d7085118-9a12-4317-aafc-da003d70672a.pak from my Steam workshop folder to my C:\Users\USER\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods.

Mod works, but I'm not currently subscribed.

Seems like whatever the bug is, it's something to do with the unpacking from Steam to Larian Mod folder.

Mind you I haven't hit the new abilities yet, maybe when I get to them my game will crash.

I looked on the Larian Forums to see if anyone else was having this problem, and it could be that I had a '/' character in the mod name. It was not in the original name but maybe with changing the name later that created the issue. I renamed, and re-uploaded so it could be fixed. Ill see if I can test it out.

Does it work for you? Same error for me.
Hybrid  [developer] 29 Sep, 2017 @ 6:30pm
Ok I can confirm I got it to work for me just now.

The exact steps I took were;
to go to my Larian Mods Folder
"Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods"
and I deleted everything in there (you can probably just delete my mod)

Then go to the steam workshop install location
"Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\435150\1148598853"
In there should be my mod named something like "Holy_Hydrosophist_"then a bunch of numbers and letters.

Then go back to the steam workshop page of my mod and unsubscribe then resubscribe
And that should work then for you

If you deleted all the mods then just go back and resub to each mod

Once you have done this and launch the game, it should go through without any issues, and now it will be in your mods folder with the name of whatever the title is here on the workshop.

That was the issue, it was being renamed to what its name is on here. So the '/' I had in the name was breaking it.

I hope that works for you as well. If not let me know and I will try to figure another way around it.

I was able to get my friend to test if this fixed his game, and it did not. So I will keep trying to fix this issue, I have renamed the mod to see if that will help.

You can manually fix this by copying the file over yourself, this is an annoying workaround but it does work for now

Here is how you would do that;

First Go To; "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\435150\1148598853" and copy the .pak file in there.

Then Go To; "Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods" and pastle the .pak file in there

This should work for now until I am able to fix this. Sorry everyone for the inconvenience.

Yeah, the manual process is what I'm using as well, works well so far.

One of my friends was able to subscribe and it worked right off the bat, so hopefully the renamming of everything has fixed it. :]
Please let me know if your still having issues.

I just subscribed to this mod and started a new game to check things out. After making a character and loading onto the ship, there was another character in my party added automatically call "New Female Human Player" with base stats and no skills. After removing the mod and creating a new character again, she did not reappear. Enabling it again causes the issue once more. Is this mod compatible with other mods such as Artificer/Bard class mod, Tempest, and Necro Class mod? Or is this an issue with the mod itself?
StardenJenkins 2 Oct, 2017 @ 8:34pm
I'm having the same issue as Zombie.
James 3 Oct, 2017 @ 8:00am
I didn't have this issue. But I don't have the artificer/bard, tempest mods or necro.

Mind you my new game was little over a week ago before he changed the name of the mod to resolve the previous bug.

Yes I know why this bug is happening. For some reason the test level I have going carried the second player I made for testing, into peoples new games. Ill just delete her and then all new games afterwards will be fine. Sorry About that!
