Bugs & Compatibility
Please list any bugs you find and mod compatibility issues you may have and I will do my best to help resolve your issue soon.

Known Bugs
  • Starting on non-vanilla planet type leads to secondary species having a different start preference compared to the primary species (e.g. Ringworld Home)
  • Starting with a custom game start that either overrights or removes the default start structures. Also affects vanilla Syncretic, Mechanist, etc civics.
  • While watching the Republic of Alar stream noticed in Episode 05 ImminentStorm found some issue where the Codominant species had Migration Controls enabled. Want to check if its a vanilla issue or a mod issue.

Known Incompatible Mods
  • Survived through Ages mod (as mod replaces original buildings on planet).
  • Running Brute Force Colonization and Shadow's Usable Planet Size Increase mod at the same time (removes all default buildings) - thanks @ПΛПО Dragoon for pointing that issue out!

Hi @ПΛПО Dragoon, thanks! I'll take a look and let you know soon. I have a suspicion what the issue might be (probably related to a file modifying the game setup), but I'll let you know which one is the root cause and when I can make a work around for it

@ПΛПО Dragoon, it's no problem. I hope you can have the best experience. So far I've gone through about a third of the mods and have not found the bug yet. I did find one with the Survived through Ages mod since the mod overwrites the vanilla Start buildings. One question, are you running 1.8.1 or 1.8.0? I've been doing the testing so far in 1.8.0.

Ok, @ПΛПО Dragoon I did some testing on 1.8.1 and I have not seen an issue with the following mods (ones with a strike through). I cannot figure out what the true issue is, but I discovered when you run both Brute Force Colonization Mk2 and Shadows Planet Size Increase together the issue occurs. This bug affects not only this mod, but also the vanilla syncretic evolution, mechanist, etc.... It works if you run either mod separately though, so I'm not sure what's the issue that's causing this bug. For now I suggest you stop using one of those two aforementioned mods.
