Small Doubts after a play

Is the dragon on the loot pile the same thing as a dragon in the mines? The "on raid" buffs works on him or not? also, if not, the "on raid" buffs keep working after a raid atack?

And if a dragon is on top of the loot deck, i need at least 1 of mine to go against it or not?
