Possible need for Guests option within the door access list
Re: Locks mod.

We can all agree that this is an amazing mod. I use this combined with Locks mod as I'm sure alot of others do. The issue regarding guests not being able to leave your premises without doors being set to unluck or held open. While this is a small problem that can be managed with a bit of micro, it becomes slightly tedious after you've had multiple visits..

I wonder if this problem could be solved by somehow giving the guest def an aditional 'colonist tag' while keeping the guest DefName.

I'm not a modder so maybe that sounds crazy.

Guest should be able to leave without problem. Can you share your doors config?

I have the same issue and the doors config looks identically to the one you sent.

I've noticed visitors sometimes cannot leave and it looks like it's consistently with factionless pawns. I'm thinking they're not technically allies since they have no faction, so they're unable to use the door despite being friendly.

I just experienced the same issue with a space refugee I rescued. He wanted to leave and I had to unlock both my hospital door and my base door, otherwise he just wandered in circles.

Yes the issue it isolated to pawns that become guests after being rescued. An FYI, Locks 2 does not have the same issue as it contains a code that includes pawns with 'guest' tags

I have the same exact issue with guests not leaving and I'm sure its from this mod. Also, Locks 2 has other bugs so there is really no bug-free lock mod right now.

this happens to the pawns i've saved from random pod crashes. they can't leave even with the visitor tag ticked green; i just have to hold door open and then they leave.
