New Flintish Lockish Gun Suggestion
The Doc has given us two doses of the blackpowder, but a third time is the charm.

We've had the :

-Musket

-Flintlock Pistol

and now we need...

-Rifled Musket



Why? Lobbing shots and all is fun, and watching volleys of lead shot slam into enemy columns is pretty rewarding just in itself. However, to the user, the 14 second reload time should be rewarded with a little more than just a knuckle ball of a shot.

Info drop on rifled muskets

Rifled muskets were created around the middle of the 1800s *cough* the Civil War is pretty bloody *cough*, and they were usually rifled variants of previous models of musket. Rifling was actually created towards the beginning of the 19th century, but this was for rifles obviously. However, with this new rifiling technique followed a new form of lead shot. Behold, the Minni (Minié) ball. At this point, ladies and gentlemen, things get faster and more accurate from here.

ya know having older weapons is a nice idea in genral can we get a m1 grand at all

The M1 Garand is a defalt weapon in the game made my Steel :P

While this is obviously not a gun, I think that while hard to implement, a officers sword/cavilry sword would be very fun to add to the game, perhaps having a little more range and faster swing speed than the bayonet? Keep up the great work!

duck foot, blunderbuss, hehe maybe a naval cannon well the small one not the big one that be sutpid, maybe "prototype" versions alittle alternate history never hurt anyone, firework rocket canaster thing, and maybe some good old fasion black powder grenades light them up and watch it explode beautiful deadly property damage....and murder i guess

though not a flint lock the apache pistol

Hello all! This discussion has had some really great ideas.

I do hope that Doc is developing something off of this. These ideas are great.

In the wake of vehicle mods, however, I think Doc is going to be diverting most of his time to a vehicle one. I do hope that we get another blackpowder weapon soon though!
