Various Bugs
Hey Jecrell,

Just wanted to report a few bugs that have cropped up in my games. Some of these might verge on suggestion, sorry if it seems that way. Just not sure about mod intentions since there isn’t a wiki or anything out there. I’ll update this post if I find any more.

1. If a vamp is restricted to an area, like home, sometimes they’ll stop doing anything and just stand still forever. I’ve found this is usually because the AI is trying to feed on something outside the zone, like a wild animal, and will drop everything until it’s unrestricted and able to go do so. Drafting works fine. So, instead of feeding on designated prisoners within the area, they’ll drop everything to feed on a boar or something, but can’t leave the area to do so, so they’ll just stand still forever.
2. After diablere, like gen 10 to 3 or 4, I’ve found that my vamps won’t use most combat abilities anymore. FWIW, my colony is Tremere. So I can use blood shield and the auspex tree, but that’s it. Has happened with two vamps so far.
3. Not sure if intended, but vamp caravans travel during the day and sleep during the night. If you’re ambushed or enter an encounter as it is, you are basically dead from sunlight exposure. Would make more sense to travel at night, sleep during day.
4. Ancient Vamp Crypts often generate without any vamp inside. Happens especially often if loading from an old save.
5. Diablere doesn’t always match generation of the consumed – intentional?
6. Vamps continue to earn skill points after filling out entire skill tree. Anything we can do with them?
7. Star Vampires (Part of Cosmic Horrors, but figured I’d include it in case you see this first) will enter the map and stand completely still.
8. Chthonian (same as above) can’t be hauled to a stockpile by pawns but can be by animals.
9. Colonists with archotech parts, etc, always have the option for regeneration of parts.
10. Using instant resurrection while vamp is in royal coffin makes vamp disappear.
11. Instead of digging a hole, sometimes vampires will stop moving altogether in sunlight and burn to a crisp.
