does anyone know if vampires regenerate quicker or do they just heal like regular humans (excluding the use of bloodheal)

One of my favorite mods of all time. I wish there was an official update for it. The unofficial updated version is really unstable and buggy so I can't use this beautiful mod anymore.

@KingWarlordSCP no, at least not yet. i could imagine that it's technically possible after a major update of this mod to the new mechanics. if you have a little free time, you could use it to learn some basic programming and then just create a adaptational mod, like it was done with clan malkav. :>

Maybe Jecrell has been too prolific and now it's hard to maintain all the stuff. It's really great stuff but maybe he should consolidate and cull so that maintenance is more managable.

We really, really, need Rim of Madness and Call of Cthulhu put in a special space and group curated. These are essential mods and an essential part of the Rimworld experience.

I bet the harmony patch won't be fixed for the last 1.4 version. (rn it makes all pawn freeze in place, unable to move.

Jecrell has announced on his Discord that he will in fact update his mod collection to the latest version of the game. Star wars is already updated and the next is war of the rims. He will do lovecraftian mods as the last one.

this mod was originally made by jecrell. jecrell isn't easy to contact, i tried several times over the years. a good while ago, i was becoming upset about being ignored when i was trying to offer help - i wasn't sure if he was just being arrogant, or really did not have any minute over to give any answer/news. so i recommended that he asks for help at the modding community in case it'd become too much to keep up the great work. now, this mod has several creators and none of them is jecrell, so i would assume the mod is in a phase where those new updaters work themself into the mechanics & goals whilst brainstorming ways to realize those. eventually they're even a step further already, updating & rewriting code. whatever it is, i'm sure the mod will become updated again and that it won't take too long anymore.

apparently there's a new mod that adds bloodlines and disciplines as xenotypes to make it work with biotech. will this mod be updated to 1.5 in the foreseeable future? the unique mechanics of this mod is quite nice imo.

Hey, I was wondering if there's a compatability patch for dubs bad hygeine? it seems like all my vampires just get dehydrated and die from being unable to drink water, thank you in advance!

I found a work around for the role change. Go into Dev mode and at the top there will be a new menu, you can add the role manually.

it seems this mod conflicts with DLC like Ideology and Biotech. I tried to make a vampire, and they could not attend to a role change. Or be the doctor to a childbirth. Every time I tell them to do, they walk to the area to do so, but the MOMENT they arrive at the "ritual" it's canceled,

I tried to use debug mode to remove the vampirism from the pawn and afterwards they could with no issue attend a role change

Just found the best way to check for mimics from alpha animals. Just embrace them. If its a mimic they just die.

for some reason my Tzimisce vampire (generation 10) is unable to make a human a vampire by embracing. what happens is she kills them and then does the resurrection animation but when they come back, they're not a vampire and for some reason they auto join my colony (only tried on prisoners). The tzimisce vampire girl also ends up standing there as if there was a command that didn't play out, it literally says "standing" as her current action after the revival. Hope this was clear enough and like I said, i've only used embrace on prisoners

Doesn't work with vanilla expanded androids (eats from androids and android can be a vampire of some reason)

I have a vampire of 5 generation and he has broken vitae stat. No matter how much he's fed (by dev console or manually) by the next day he has no vitae, and goes on rampage on my colonists. Goes to day sleep fully fed and wakes up starving...

oof, I would love a gene that gives the gargoyle appearance along with the other types, my mod list doesn't play well with vampires or werewolves

Vampires who embark on caravans break caravans, not sure if there's anything in the logs. That caravan cannot be properly selected, cannot be commanded.

Pov: You are playing Commitment mode and the empire comes to give you a psylink but oops hes a vampire he burns he dies in sunlight aaaand Now i am hostile with the empire R.i.p Would love if bestowers would Not be vampires or at least i dont know if their clothing "stopped" the burning or death or anything so i can at least rescue them manually

I encountered an issue with loading baby vamp into growth vat. I removed the camp stuff on them & then loaded them in... Then added back the vampire stuff

Maybe it's just me, but this mod seems explicitly incompatible with the Biotech DLC and/or Character Editor. My vamp pawns always, ALWAYS turn human after a save and reload, but were fine pre-biotech purchase. Help?
