Odd, the picture shows a MRZR, but default Arma 3/RHS doesn't show cargo like that. Is there a mod I don't know about?
Unless you mean the M1078A1R SOV from RHS, which is also referred to as the War Pig:

Result = 31 km.
I increased the tank capacity and doing the same test resulted in 46 km.
I haven't decided whether to update the mod with a larger tank capacity yet. If I make it any bigger then the purpose of carrying the cans will be defeated due to map size.
"attachTo", ACE3 refueling function and a bit of mission maker's love can make wonders my friend ;)
this pic should tell You more about how it's done
And yes I was mainly reffering to the original M1078A1R SOV "War Pig" as the MRZR in pic functions a mini variation of it's function.
As for range durring the mendtioned mission we covered rughly around 10km in rough terrain (so with lots of side tracking while following the terrain) while having to refuel just once along the way even without using fuel cannisters carried on the ATV's. And that is roughly half of the entire map.
Increasing the range would make it hard to find a map big enough to support this so IMHO I would stick to current fuel capacity.
It doesn't matter in ArmA as You use fuel at constant rate no matter of the terrain type. It's just that in VR your path "on map" and "in reality" are exactly the same while most terrains are not flat and objectless like VR is so you need to follow the terrain, drive around obstacles etc. so even if You move 10km "on map" this sidetracking results in much more ground covered "in reality" and therefore consuming more fuel.
The test performed by Neddles is accurate and totaly correct with what we experienced on mission.
My MRZR is just one example of a way to work around this. I personaly did it before the mission in the editor but AFAIK you could just as well do it mid-session if You know a bit of scripting and have acces to server debug console.
I have those armor sets. Super cool.
