Platform Panic
Feedback That Got Too Wordy For Comments
This level has a very "Super Mario 64 hack" feel to it, and that's both a good thing and a bad thing. The signs that give a little bit of info on each of the individual areas are cute, but they're very little to dress up the raw platforming challenges the level offers—it's like giving a mannequin a cute accessory and saying that the mannequin is now cute. That said, the platforming challenges themselves were quite good—I almost felt bad about using Lilac's Earpiece to break some of them. I particularly strongly appreciated having some places to do some high-speed jumps using the scooter; it's a thing the base game didn't let you do often enough, and it feels so great.

I also must nod in agreement to the comments on Springhook appearing to be unfinished—either that, or it becomes so unintuitive where to go thereafter that I cannot figure it out. Relatedly, the use of very dark, indistinct textures in the Pillars of Old (I might be misremembering the name, but hopefully "dark, indistinct textures" gives it away) causes some serious conveyance issues—it can be very difficult to tell where one pillar ends and another begins, which is never something you can afford when you're demanding the level of precision expected from the player in that area.
