Certain Gestures being Exaggerated

After making a custom scene and using it in game, i noticed certain gestures are exaggerated (ie g_accentup making them bend entirely backwards) is there any fix?

unless you update the entirtey of half life 2 to have theese in there i dont think so [im not a dev so im probably stupidly wrong]
