FAQ
Some mods have been reported as incompatible: "I can Fix it!" is the main cause of "infinite duststorm bug".

1) "I have a bug when..."
- Have you started a new colony? It is mandatory as it adds a new faction (or use the Orion's Faction discovery mod. I tested it myself and it works).

2) "I cannot pay the partnership fee."
- Check your silver is near a powered vanilla orbital beacon (not the MiningCo. orbital relay).

3) "The damaged spaceship is spawning cargo non-stop!"
- See 1). Starting a new colony is mandatory!

4) Orbital relay inspect panel is broken.
- See 1). Starting a new colony is mandatory!

5) "I cannot start damaged spaceship repairs but I have all the required materials!"
- Check the materials are near the damaged spaceship. The display radius is not here by luck...

6) "Dispatcher troops are hostile to me."
- If you destroyed several MiningCo. spaceship the minute before, it is normal. Otherwise, see 1).

I want to help! How?

1) Any help is warmly welcome once you checked the previous FAQ.

2) If possible, check if you can reproduce the bug with only MiningCo. Spaceship mod activated (with Core of course).

3) Post your output_log.txt file with a description of what happened and what you expected.

Is there anyway to disable the flashing lights on the landing strip? I don't know why but those lights cause pretty severe framerate drop when powered. Otherwise its a really fun mod to play around with and makes frozen world plays tolerable.

Please consider removing the lights or adding an option to asap. It's really, really laggy and makes the mod almost unusable.

Well I do hope you find time to do so, I do quite enjoy the mod and would love to use it but even on a fresh map on the tiniest map setting for some reason it nukes my fps.

Otherwise keep up the great work, I'm quite enjoying the content you're making :D

Edit: So after ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about in the mod files I figured out how to fix the issue myself. It was as I suspected the beacons on the landing pad.

For anyone wanting to fix the issue yourself without having to wait for a potential fix all you need to do is

Go to Steam Library /Steam Apps /Workshop /Content /Random Numbers (was 294100 for me) /More Random Numbers (1221668621) /Defs /Thing Defs/

once there you will need to delete Building_LandingPadBeacon.xml and that should remove the flashing beacons.

Naturally, before making any changes I'd make a back up of the folder and what not.

I didn't destroy any mining co ships (or anything else miningco for that matter) AND started a new game.

So, I don't know what to say man. Cool mod nonetheless, thanks!

The spaceship is just constantly spawning gold, survival food and plasteel after repairing it. The take off button does not seem to be working either.

This IS a new colony.

Is it really a fresh new world? I can only reproduce this bug when activating the mod on an existing colony.
Do you have mods messing around with factions?
Please activate Orion's Faction Discovery mod and try again.

is it a fresh new start but I'm using [RF] Faction Control [b18]. A mod which lets you change alot of faction settings. I'll try Orions Factions Discovery and see if that helps.

Just a thought, would placing the landing pad down in 'god mode' before researching the tech cause it?

Cool! And no, dev mode has no impact. I often use it to fasten tests.
Cant pay the partnership fee. Silver is near it too!

The silver isn't suppose to be near the terminal but near a trade beacon found in the Misc Tab.
