FAQ:
  1. What does the Tek Mine provide? Extra explosive defenses that require no babysitting, set it and forget it!
  2. How does the Tek Mine work? Place it on the ground, put elemental shards into the inventory, pick either Variable percent damage or Constant percent damage, and then activate it.
  3. Is it triggered by tribemates and allies? No, only your enemies are going to feel the hurt! I mean, how dare they try to enter your claimed lands without your permission!!!
  4. Will it damage dinos? Yes and no. It will only detonate when an enemy player enters the trigger zone. If that player is riding a dino, then that dino too will be damaged.
  5. Can I, the owning tribe of the mine, ever be damaged by the explosion? Yes, if an enemy player enters the trigger zone, anything else in that trigger radius will also be damaged.
  6. Does it damage structures? No, only dinos and players that are in the damage radius.
  7. Where can the mine be placed? Anywhere on the ground, and on foundations and the top of ceilings.
  8. Can the mines be stacked on top of one another? No, mine trigger zones will not overlap so someone cant stack mines.
  9. Can the tek mine be placed near enemy bases? The mine cant be placed near enemy structures and will prevent enemy structures from being placed nearby as well.
  10. How much damage does the mine do? This depends on the armor rating of the person receiving the damage, the server settings, and the amount of shards put into the inventory.
    Can the mine instantly kill me or my dino? Kill a player yes, depends on server settings, armor rating, and the amount of shards. For a Dino, default settings allow the dino to take less damage, but this also is dependent on server and mine settings
  11. What is the difference between Variable Percent Damage and Constant Percent Damage? Variable % damage will have its damage output decrease with every detonation, but will have a higher damage output on its first couple of detonations. With Constant % damage, its constant! All depends on server settings and the amount of shards put into the inventory.
  12. What do you mean by detonations? This is a TEK mine, it is more advanced than your normal IED. With the use of shards, the tek mine determines its number of detonations and damage output. Once activated, all settings are set and your extra defenses are up.
  13. How many shards should I put into the inventory? Element is expensive. As more shards are put in, the number of detonations will not increase as much, but the damage output will. i.e. 10 shards will give you 4 detonations, 100 shards will provide 7 and 1000 shards will provide 10. Damage output will increase to the max server setting when you reach max stack limit (results vary depending on server setting)
  14. How do I get rid of the mine? If owning tribe, you can pick it up if it has not been activated. If activated the owning tribe can "destroy" it, but the remaining inventory will not drop. If enemy tribe, Tek destroys Tek - again the inventory does not drop.
  15. What is the damage radius of the mine? The Trigger radius is just over 3 foundations, the damage radius is just over 4 foundations.
  16. Is the Trigger / Damage radius adjustable? Not at this time, there are plans to have a selectable radius adjustment in the near future
  17. What happens when the mine has performed all its detonations? The mine is no longer usable and disintegrates.

Base dmg is 940. The multiplier is just that. If u have it set to 100 it would be 94000. This also depends on how many shards the user puts in. If I remember the min was about 250. So 100 x that would be 25000 as the min dmg output

put cap and 1 step 1 dead too (my server got no durable armor and armor poin 15k+) so need 1 step 1 dead aka 1 hit dead

I looked into this. there is no cap on the INI setting for BaseDmgMultiplier. You can also use the Percent damage output. I know for a fact you can make the % higher than 100%. you can put like 200% for the max and maybe 150% for the min.
That will gaurantee a kill every time
