EotA Creature Information
Dino Information
Here you will find all the need to know info on all the creatures of EotA. All creatures are balanced around vanilla ARK's stats. Mods and/or server settings that effect/boost/etc dino stats/levels will also effect these. Some things may still be tweaked and changed in future based on players feedback and future plans.

ALPHA's are NOT tamable by default. To enable the ability to tame the Alpha Variants of creatures add the following to your GameUserSettings.ini
[EotA Settings]
AllowAlphaTaming=True

ALPHAS do not spawn on Aberration.

Note: Spawn Locations
ARK = The Island/Center/Ragnarok
SE = Scorched Earth
*AB = Aberration
Also includes any custom maps that makes use of the above mentioned maps spawn zones.
*Note: Just like ARK's own AB creatures, all Aberrant Variants of the listed creatures below have 4% less health, and deal 6% more damage than their normal counterpart.

Dire Warg
Diet: Carnivore
Temperament: Aggressive
Rideable: Yes
Variants: Alpha (though in game it says Primal, oops) DireWarg
Behavior: Smaller in size and lacking the strength of the Direwolf, the Direwarg makes up for it in agility and pack size. While it can't carry much it's ideal for long distance travel and pack hunting, allowing a max of 8 to its pack. Its elongated canine teeth allows it to gorge into its pray, inflicting a slow bleed to its target.
Taming Method: Knock Out
Preferred Food: Raw Mutton, Kibble (Carno Egg)
Spawn Locations: (ARK, SE) Mountain’s, Redwoods

Spawn Codes: DireWarg_Character, MegaDireWarg_Character (yes they are missing the _BP at the end of the file name. )
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/DireWarg/DireWarg_Character.DireWarg_Character" 1 1 1 LEVEL
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/DireWarg/MegaDireWarg_Character.MegaDireWarg_Character" 1 1 1 LEVEL

Authors Notes: This is the puppy that started this mod in the mid of 2017. The original idea behind the dire warg was to edit the old direwolf model and replace it to try and make it LOOK more like a wolf, and edit its running animation to a more proper run instead of the silly hop it had. It was a long learning curve to sort out model editing and figure out the limits the ARKDevkit would allow me to go with re-shaping existing dinos. But thanks to the TLC Update, the work I put in was no longer needed. But I still loved my warg so I kept the concept into a new creature. In future I hope to allow it to latch onto a target as well as a sit and guard, giving off a growl if an enemy is near.

Glyptodon
Diet: Herbivore
Temperament: Passive
Rideable: No
Variants: Aberrant Glyptodon
Behavior: Some times called a Pygmy Doedi for its size, these little guys would rather flee or curl up than fight and can often be found curled into little balls. They are ideal for new survivors to aid in early gathering and item storage, and while they lack the punch of their larger counterpart, their thick tails can still chip away at rocks and stone and are more than happy to roll after you to keep up.
Taming Method: Passive
Preferred Food: Mejoberry
Spawn Locations: (ARK, SE, AB) Beach, Grasslands, SE Oasis, SE EZ Mode (spawn zones), AB Fertile Lands

Spawn Codes: PygmyDoed_Character_BP, PygmyDoed_AB_Character_BP
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/PygmyDoedi/PygmyDoed_Character_BP.PygmyDoed_Character_BP" 1 1 1 LEVEL
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/PygmyDoedi/PygmyDoed_AB_Character_BP.PygmyDoed_AB_Character_BP" 1 1 1 LEVEL

Authors Notes: The Glyptodon as it's now called was made on request for a dino that was easier to get at the early game to help with gathering stone. While a Doedicurus could be seen as an easy tame on its own (even if its saddle is learned at lv35), some liked the concept of having a little fella that would follow you around and help with the task as well as something for early item storage as it will curl into a ball making wild dino's ignore it for a time, though it's smaller health pool still puts it at risk against larger dinos.

Dracovenator
Diet: Carnivore
Temperament: Aggressive
Rideable: Yes
Variants: Aberrant Dracovenator, Alpha Dracovenator
Behavior: Not much will bother a Dracovenator; or Draco for short; their bright coloration alerts to their toxic nature. A larger relative of the Dilo, they have a venomous bite that slows down it's pray and may even knock it out if they don't kill it first.
Taming Method: Knock Out
Preferred Food: Raw Mutton
Spawn Locations: (ARK, SE, AB) Redwoods, Jungles, Swamps, SE Green Desert, SE Canyons, AB Blue Zone

Spawn Codes: Dracovenator_Character_BP, Dracovenator_AB_Character_BP, MegaDracovenator_Character_BP
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Dracovenator/Dracovenator_Character_BP.Dracovenator_Character_BP" 1 1 1 LEVEL
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Dracovenator/Dracovenator_AB_Character_BP.Dracovenator_Character_BP" 1 1 1 LEVEL
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Dracovenator/MegaDracovenator_Character_BP.MegaDracovenator_Character_BP" 1 1 1 LEVEL

Authors Notes: Another dino request but with my own twist. The Dracovenator as made when asked if I could make the Dilo rideable, and as some know, I'm not a fan of just taking an existing dino and changing it's size. I did however find the Dracovenator while looking up other genus [en.wikipedia.org] types that the dilo belongs to, it made for an ideal middle ground. In time I hope to learn how to edit animations so the Draco can have its own full appearance, along with giving it a saddle.

Orodromeus
Diet: Herbivore
Temperament: Skittish
Rideable: No
Variants: Aberrant Orodromeus
Behavior: This little fella is fast for its size, but speed is its only defense in a world where everything wants to eat you. Finding them can be hard for this fact, there skittish nature makes them flee if you get close and their small size makes them hard to spot. Going for the trouble of taming an Oro has its perks however, as they are known for their rare flowers (when on wander).
Taming Method: Knock Out
Preferred Food: Rare Flowers
Spawn Locations: (ARK, SE, AB) Grasslands, SE Greed Desert, SE Oasis, AB Fertile Lands

Spawn Codes: Oro_Character_BP, Oro_AB_Character_BP
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Orodromeus/Oro_Character_BP.Oro_Character_BP" 1 1 1 LEVEL
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Orodromeus/Oro_AB_Character_BP.Oro_AB_Character_BP"1 1 1 LEVEL

Authors Notes: The oro was my first attempt at learning how to make dino's gather on wonder, something that didn't work out as planned as they ignored every bush they went up to. I did however with thanks to Biggums of the modding community found a work around. Tamed Oro's will now generate over time rare flowers in its inv when set to wonder. The time for each item generation and the amount given each time is random.

It would be nice if the Oro was shoulder mounted. Transporting them is a bit tough without a flyer and they are vulnerable to attack.

We have it on our server with the dino pick up mod the oro and others look rather nice on the shoulder

The oro was going to be carryable, but as I was making it some commented that it was a bit big to ride on you so the idea was scrapped. It may look small but it comes up past the avg players knees. The dino pick up mod is a nice alt, but it also re-sizes down the dino. I'll think about re-adding it but I'm really not too sure.

Are the bosses tameble and/or is there a way to make them tameable.

Is there any kibble for the Glyptodon? It isn't seeming to take any veggies

That is a given, sadly we don't really have access to what controls their full feeding time. I tweaked it as far as I could, lowering their food faster, speeding up their feeding time, but theres some underlying code that we don't ahve access to that fully controls when it eats. I can make it 100% starved and it still will take ages to eat the next one. so the timer isn't based on hunger x.x

I can't find any of the creatures on rag and can't spawn them in. Can anyone help?

Did you add the mod into your mod list?

It would Be nice to add a small crocodile that tuggs on you instead of jumping 50 meters to snatch you.I also am having a problem with finding any of the creatures,is there a way to make them spawn more often?

My creatues don't spawn all across the maps, and instead like ARK's normal dinos, spawn in set biomes, and at set raritys so there not all over the place super common to find like you see in most other dino mods. I like to keep a balance and allow ARK's normal dinos to spawn. As is I may be toning back the Draco's spawn as he is becoming a little too common in the swamps.

The spawn codes are incorrect
I have to use this for draco
cheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Dracovenator/Dracovenator_Character_BP.Dracovenator_Character_Bp'" 500 500 15 0 0
instead of
cheat SpawnDino "/Game/Mods/ExilesOTA/Dino/Dracovenator/Dracovenator_Character_BP.Dracovenator_Character_BP" 1 1 1 (What ever level)
