Ok, for anyone who has this problem, I solved it by disabling the Expert AI mod. I don't know exactly why it doesn't work with this mod, even though it is listed as required, but turning it off should resolve your problems.

Well, it's a bit disappointing to play this mod withouth EAI, but thank you anyway.
