Beastmen

Chaos Trolls: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 6th Edition unit) Drawn to the horde by the promise of battle and food, trolls will often join a brayherd on the march.

Chaos Ogres: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 6th Edition unit) Many ogres do choose to follow the Dark Gods of their own free will, for promises of eternal battle are a sore temptation to them.

Bovigor Herd: (Source: WFRP Tome of Corruption 2nd Edition lore) Bovigors are bull or ox-headed beastmen of a much smaller stature than minotaurs. They are bullheaded by nature, very competitive and prizing brute power over any form of subtelty.

Garthors: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 6th Edition unit) Called by thunder and lightning to fulfill their ancient pledge to the Chaos gods, these monsters have awoken to bolster the horde in battle!

Giant Minotaur: (Source: WFB Storm of Magic image) Cannibalistic minotaurs who have grown and mutated to unbelievable size, often as a result of fallen warpstone.

Gribbleback: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 6th-8th Edition lore) In isolated locations such as the Middle Mountains, Razorgors can grow to mammoth size.

Mud Elemental: (Source: WFB White Dwarf 291 US 6th Edition unit) When the primitive Beastmen face the challenge of besieging fortifications, the Bray-Shamans use the unbridled power of Chaos to bend trees, hurl stone and lift the very earth into an animated siege tower.

Mutants: (Source: WFRP Tome of Corruption 2nd Edition + novels lore) Dispossessed mutants, shunned by their societies, often find themselves fighting alongside herds of Beastmen as fodder, if the Beastmen choose not to eat them first.

Preyton: (Source: WFB Monstrous Arcanum 8th Edition unit) Preytons are a savage and hateful breed of creature that haunts the forested lands of Bretonnia. So renowned is their ferocity that sightings of Preytons will draw knights from many miles around, seeking to prove their valour by slaying the beasts.

Redmaw: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 5th Edition unit) Redmaw is the most loyal and skilled hound ever trained by Khazrak the One-Eye. A veteran of many battles, Redmaw has saved Khazrak's life in the past and would gladly lay down his life for his master.

Shartak: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 6th Edition unit) The oldest of Dragon Ogres have grown to titanic proportions and their awakening and arrival are a clear sign of favour from the Chaos gods.

Tuskgor Chariot: (Source: WFB Armies Beastmen 5th-8th Editions unit) The chariots of the beastmen are ramshackle constructions, built from the remains of man's buildings. Nevertheless, Tuskgors can inflict serious damage when they charge into the foe. [Donated by Xenos, thanks!]


Bretonnia

Arblastiers: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) While the use of missile weapons is considered distasteful by the majority of Bretonnians, there are some lords who maintain retinues of crossbowmen to get an edge on their enemies.

Bordelen Marines: (Source: WFRP Knights of the Grail 2nd Edition lore) The nobility of Bordeleux who live near the coast often practice the worship of Manann, spending their errantry years on board ships as often as on land.

Chasseur de la Mort: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) These are mounted retainers of the knights. They band together into units of their own, as their masters will not permit them to join the ranks of the nobility.

Chevaliers d'Honneur: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) The noblest Bretonnian knights of them all, the personal friends and supporters of the King.

Chevaliers de Notre Dame de Bataille: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) An order of Bretonnian knights dedicated to 'Our Lady of Battle', affectionately known as 'La Femme Fatale'.

Field Trebuchet (Pox Carcass): (Source: WFB Armies Bretonnia 6th Edition lore) "Fetchez la vache!" The peasants' trebuchet can at times be loaded with dead cattle to demoralize and weaken enemies, in particular for sieges. - Xenos

Great Stag: (Source: WFB Storm of Magic 8th Edition unit) Only the most powerful and most pure of heart Prophetess' can bind these beasts to the service of Bretonnia for a short while.

Herrimaults: (Source: WFRP Knights of the Grail 2nd Edition lore) These 'Merry Men' are vigilante bands of outlaws who uphold the rights of the peasants in Bretonnia against unjust nobles, though they will join noble armies against more dangerous foes. - Xenos

L'Ordonnance: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) Though it is considered a dishonourable weapon outside of the navy, a small cannonade is maintained by the King's servants by the order of Leoncour's predecessor, Charles de la Tete d'Or III

Mangonels: (Source: WFB Armies 4th Edition unit) Typically reserved only for siege warfare, the mangonel is inspired by Dwarf designs and by battles fought in the Borderlands.

Mounted Squires: (Source: WFB Armies 5th Edition unit) Knights are served in peace and war by their squires, commoners who ride to the hunt with their master, and who accompany him to war.

Noblesse D'Epee: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) The Nobility of the Sword are knights from the more rural areas of Bretonnia who cannot afford the best equipment or mounts

Scorpions: (Source: WFB Armies 4th Edition unit) While the design and use of the scorpion is known to the Bretonnians, its use is rare because of its association with the death of Gilles le Breton.

Sons of Bretonnia: (Source: Hammer and Bolter 25: The Court Beneath lore) Born with magical gifts and taken at a young age by the Lady of the Lake, these Lost Sons are now the Lady's personal courtiers and servants.

Spirits of the Fey: (Source: WFB Armies Bretonnia 5th Edition lore) A knight who dies having served and honoured the Lady all the days of his life is believed to become one of her avenging angels, continuing to serve her through all eternity.


Chaos

Mabrothrax: (Source: WFRP Core 1st Edition lore) One of the rarest greater daemons of Nurgle, the Mabrothrax can travel as a fog of poison, but in physical form its every strike spreads disease and infection.


Druchii - Core

Aeskhaine: (Source: WFB The End Times III: Khaine lore) The power of Khaine sits poorly upon the weak-willed, driving them into a self-consuming madness from which there is no escape. If they do not master themselves, this could be the future of all elves.

Avatar of Khaela Mensha Khaine: (Source: WFB Core Rulebook 8th Edition lore) Using strange sorceries, Malekith has learned to imbue armoured steel giants with the souls of killers, creating fell embodiments of Khaine that carve through the ranks of those born of flesh and blood.

Medusa Youngbloods: (Source: AoS Daughters of Khaine 2nd Edition unit) Medusa Youngbloods are newly created Medusae used as bodyguards to High Priestesses or Bloodwrack Medusae.

City Guard: (Source: WFB Chronicles 2003 6th Edition unit) When needed, the elite City Garrison of Naggaroth's cities march forth, using their spears and repeater crossbows with exceptional proficiency.

Doomdrakes: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit + Malus Darkblade lore) Druchii nobles who choose to ride the fearful Cold Ones are awesome warriors. They inhale corrosive infusions to deaden their sense of smell.

Doomsteeds: (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Edition unit) Druchii nobles prefer to fight mounted, riding down their enemies with their powerful steeds. The wealthiest and most influential nobles can afford to ride Dragonsteeds.

Helldrake: (Source: WFB Armies Dark Elves 8th Edition lore) While full grown Sea Dragons are too massive to survive on land, the smaller sub-species known as Helldrakes are smaller and more manageable.

Human Slaves: (Source: WFB Citadel Journal 21 5th Edition unit) Often, when battle arises, the Druchii will take slaves onto the battlefield and make them fight, despite, or because, of how weak they are. Humans are the most numerous of these.

Magma Dragon: (Source: WFB Monstrous Arcanum 8th Edition unit) Dwelling in the shattered, smouldering peaks of the Blackspine Mountains, these primordial creatures are exceptionally difficult to capture and control.

Manticore Lords: (Source: MoW Sea of Blood unit) Deep within the Black Arks lurk the Manticore Lords, held in high esteem amongst their kin as the beasts are so vicious and unpredictable.

Nightmare Dragon: (Source: WFB Storm of Magic 8th Edition unit) Nightmare Emperor Dragons are believed by some not to be real creatures at all, but wild currents of Amethyst Magic given life.

Rephallim: (Source: WFB Armies Dark Elves 7th-8th Edition lore) The feared servants of Ereth Khial, supreme goddess of the Underworld, these invisible winged wraiths were once Elven souls before they were stolen from Slaanesh.

Royal War Hydra: (Source: WFB Annual 2002 6th Edition unit) Renowned War Hydras are brought before Malekith himself and transformed through sorcery into armoured, acidic monsters.

Scourgerunner Chariot (Ravager Harpoon): (Source: WFB Armies Dark Elves 8th Edition unit) Small bands of beastmasters roam the wilds in Scourgerunner Chariots, searching fen, crag and cave for suitable prizes.

Spellthirster Hydra: (Source: WFB Annual 2002 6th Edition unit) The descendants of Beastmaster Rakarth's masterpiece hydra, Daerlythe, he subjected to spells spun by Morathi. These hydras are higly resistant to magic.

Veteran Hydra: (Source: WFB Annual 2002 6th Edition unit) Known as 'The Claws of Khaine', War Hydras that have survived long enough with the same Beastmasters can learn new tactics and commands, defending assets and seeking out specific foes.

Winterborn: (Source: WFB The End Times V: Archaon lore) Arriving unheralded at Malekith's palace, these women declared that they intended to serve Malekith whether he liked it or not. More amused than outraged, Malekith welcomed the witches into his retinue.

Celestial Hurricanum: (Source: WFB Armies The Empire 8th Edition unit) These battle altars were originally built to help Celestial Wizards in their studies of the heavens. Now they can be brought to the field to summon storms upon the enemy.

Griffon Knights: (Source: Man O’War unit) While primarily employed to screen the air above the Imperial Navy, the Empire of Man does have the ability to call on wings of griffon mounted knights in times of need.

Gryphlings: (Source: extrapolation from WFB artwork and AoS models) This smaller sub-species of demigryphs are naturally attracted to those who wield the winds of Azyr and have an innate distaste for the corruptions of Chaos.

Halberdiers (Shields): (Source: WFB Armies The Empire 6th Edition unit) Although unable to wield them in close combat effectively, these halberdiers carry shields to protect them from missile fire during their advance.

Light Cannon: (Source: Black Library Novels: Sword of Vengeance, Reiksguard, Iron Company lore) The first province to use cannon was Nuln, where the Imperial school of Gunnery was subsequently established and the Imperial Corps of Artillery is based.

Outriders (Hochland Longrifles): (Source: Empire 7-8th Ed Army Book) Veterans of the pistol corps who did not move on to become Knights are often gifted experimental and advanced weapons by patron engineers.

State Archers: (Source: Empire lore and 4-5th Ed.) Many states maintain regiments of professional archers despite the advent of gunpowder.

Tilean Mercenary Crossbowmen: (Source: Empire lore and 4-5th Ed.) Tilean mercenaries are a common sight within the Empire where they are highly sought after for their skill.

Tilean Mercenary Pikemen: (Source: Empire lore and 4-5th Ed.) Tilean mercenary pikemen have been seen serving in armies and caravans from Kislev to Cathay to the New World.

Von Zeppel War Wagon: (Source: WFB Armies The Empire 4th Edition unit) Originally created by the venerable engineer Von Zeppel, the War Wagon bears engineers with a variety of experimental and deadly weaponry into battle.

Warriors of Ulric (Great Weapons): (Source: 6th Ed. Storm of Chaos Middenland Army List) Unlike Sigmar's followers, Ulric's devoted who become convinced o their own, or the world's, sinfulness take up the path of the Wolf-Kin, wandering through the north of the Empire, seeking trouble, and fighting it head on.

Zealots: (Source: Mordheim) Many men and women follow in the wake of Warrior Priests and Witch Hunters. Not all are flagellants, but they are a motley crew of poor, if pious, individuals. (Recruited from the temple of Sigmar at all levels, weak but numerous unbreakable infantry)



Greenskins

Bonegrinder Giant: (Source: WFB Storm of Magic 7th Edition unit) Very old and incredibly rare, these giants are not so much evil or cruel, as just clumsy and incapable of judging the fine line between intimidation and dead-from-fright.

Nuttaz: (Source: Mordheim Nemesis Black Orc Warband unit) These are Orcs who have been left a little . . . unstable after fighting Chaos. They ain't right in the head, I tell you, especially by Orc standards. Eventually they'll kill themselves, but only after they've killed everyone else.

Ruglud's Armoured Orcs: (Source: WFB Storm of Chaos 6th Edition unit) Inspired by what he saw in the wastes, and a stray rock that struck his head, Ruglud has organized his men to fight with crossbows and armour. Because, as Ruglud puts it, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

Savage Orc Chariot: (Source: WFB Armies Orcs & Goblins Savage Orc Variant Army List 6th Edition unit) Savage Orcs don't make chariots, they steal them from their more organised cousins. Consequently they never let the Gobbos have them.

Squig Gobbaz: (Source: Forge World 8th Edition unit) How the Night Goblins ever came up with such a novel use for the gigantic beast is too terrifying to imagine.

Blessed Spawning of Itzl: (Source: Lizardmen 6th Ed. Army Book) Those blessed by Itzl exude a subtle scent that Cold Ones and Carnosaurs find familiar and reassuring.

Feral Ripperdactyls: (Source: Extrapolation) For sheer aggression, Ripperdactyls are in a class by themselves. Extremely difficult to train and easily triggered to enter a killing rage.

Feral Terradons: (Source: Warhammer Chronicles 2004: Lost Valley of the Carnosaurs list, 6th Ed.) Swooping down from the cliffs, the creatures of the jungle will fight to defend their land.

Great Wyrm: (Source: Warhammer Chronicles 2004: Lost Valley of the Carnosaurs list, 6th Ed.) Rivalling the dragons of the Old World in size, the Great Wyrms of the Dragon Isles prey on adult terradon, but enjoy the taste of warm blooded creatures as an extra treat.

Jungle Swarm: (Source: 5th-8th Ed. Lizardmen Army Books) When the hosts of the Temple Cities march forth, they call forth the lizards, snakes and various reptiles of the jungle to swarm the foe.

Juvenile Razordon Pack:

Juvenile Salamander Pack: (Source: Every Edition of the Lizardmen) Salamanders are ambush hunters that attack their prey with bursts of flaming corrosive liquids. They are often raised from infancy by the Skinks to be used for hunting and war.

Juvenile Stegadon:

Lesser Jungle Swarm: (Source: Lustria Campaign Book, 6th Edition) The Skink priests call forth all the poisonous and stinging creatures of the jungle to harangue the enemy.

Megasaur: (Source: WFB Core lore) The largest and most powerful predators in Lustria, sometimes called Megasaurs, few of this elder race remain.

Saurus Braves: (Source: Mordheim) These are Saurus who dwell beyond the safety of the Temple Cities, roaming and surviving in the vastness of the jungle. Some are the survivors of Temple cities long destroyed, some are outcasts, while others have forgotten their origin. Though somewhat feral, the Skink Priests can call upon their numbers when the need arises.

Skink Cohort (Short Bows): (Source: Lizardmen 5th and 6th Editions) In the Southlands, infrequent Saurus spawnings have forced the Skinks to become the primary warriors, and take up any arms that help them hold their temple cities. (The animation is not perfect, using the blowpipe animation, because a lot of animations, even for models of similar size, just visually break models/skins of other races)

Skink Cold One Riders: (Source: Lizardmen 4th Ed) Cold Ones are ridden by Great Crested Skinks. It is believed their crests are a sig that the Old Ones marked them out for this role.

Slave Warriors of the City of the Moon:

Terradon Riders (Short Bows): (Source: Lizardmen 5th Edition) Having mastered the use of the bow on the ground in their battles against greenskins, adventurers and skaven, the skinks took the bow to the air. Now death rains on the enemies of the Lizardmen in the Southlands. (The animation is not perfect, using the blowpipe animation, because a lot of animations, even for models of similar size, just visually break models/skins of other races)

The Living Bastions:

Thunder Lizard: (Source: Warhammer Chronicles 2004: Lost Valley of the Carnosaurs list, 6th Ed.) The largest of Lustria's denizens, the Thunder lizard can only be somewhat controlled by the greatest slann, but is only rivalled in strength and size by the greatest marine Leviathans.

Troglodytes: (Source: 3rd Ed. book) These rare spawnings of Lizardmen are often utilized by the Slann as guards and shock troops.

Skaven – Core

Albino Stormvermin: (Source: WFB Uniforms and Heraldry of the Skaven 8th Edition lore) Raised and trained to be the best warriors and guards of the Council of Thirteen itself, these vermin have gazed upon the majesty of the Horned Rat, and so the world holds no horrors for them now. They are only gifted to those the Council truly favours, and having a unit of these guards is a sign of extremem prestige in the Skaven underworld.

Cultists of the Poison Claw: (Source: WFRP The Restless Dead 1st Edition lore) These humans seek to save themselves through worship of the Horned Rat! Use them, yes, yes!! And when the world is ours they will join the slaves. The Cult of the Poison Claw dabbles in necromancy.

Cultists of the Yellow Fang: (Source: WFRP Sigmar's Heirs 2nd Edition lore) In the heart of the Empire, in the city of Carroburg, a rot festers in the Empire, humans who have taken up secret worship of the Horned Rat. Meeting in secret with the Skaven in the Midden Moors, these men and women seek to bring down the Empire and then hope to take up what they believe to be their rightful place as leaders of all Skavendom. The Skaven feed the ambitions of these humans to make use of them. Many members are practitioners of dark magic.

Rat Swarm: (Source: WFB Armies Skaven 4th-8th Edition unit) When the Skaven go to war, mass swarms of rats seem drawn to the army by instinct, accompanying the Rat-men into battle.


Skaven – Clan Eshin

Assassin Adepts: (Source: Mordheim Core Rulebook unit) Only the most vicious and cunning of Skaven are initiated into the secret art of assassination. Those who survive the trials become masters of murder.

Black Skaven: (Source: Mordheim Core Rulebook unit) Among the Skaven race, those whelps with black fur tend to be bigger and more vicious than their fellows. Trained in the martial arts of Clan Eshin, they combine the speed of their smaller kin with brawn seldom found amongst the ratmen.

Verminkin: (Source: Mordheim Core Rulebook unit) The lowest and most common rank in clan Eshin, Verminkin are thrown into conflict with reckless abandon. Those who survive hope to be initiated into the secrets of their clan and begin their journey from nightrunner to, perhaps one day, assassin.

Verminlord Deceiver: (Source: WFB End Times IV Thanquol unit) Verminlord Deceivers are demonic servents of the Horned Rat who embody the great one's sneakiness and love of shadowy plots.

Warpguard: (Source: Mordheim Videogame unit) Warpguard are skaven of Clan Eshin who have been especially trained and adapted to guard stocks of Warpstone. Magical rituals enhance their resistance to the corrupting effects of Warpstone, making them less likely to suffer debilitating mutations.

Flayerkin: (Source: WFB White Dwarf 310: A Guide to Hell Pit 6th Edition unit) Flayerkin are mutants crafted from a fusion of Chaos Marauders, Skaven and hell-forged iron. The chains fused to their spines allow their comrades to scale the walls whether the kin remain alive or dead.

Some of the improved specimens out of Hell Pit include Rat Ogres with extra limbs, troll blood and even minds, since Throt perfected the art of brain transplanting.

Slaves of Hell Pit: (Source: WFB White Dwarf 310: A Guide to Hell Pit 6th Edition unit) The Packmasters of Clan Moulder enjoy capturing, experimenting on, and enslaving the various groups of humans they come into contact with, whether they be Norse tribesmen, Kislevites, or Empire citizens. In battle, these broken and tormented souls can be goaded forward into battle.

The Twin Cyclopian Giants of Level 9: (Source: WFB White Dwarf 310: A Guide to Hell Pit 6th Edition lore) In the deepest depths of Hell Pit live twin cyclops giants who power the great winches that raise the foulest of Clan Moulder's creations out of the depths in times of war.

Throtlings: (Source: WFB White Dwarf 310: A Guide to Hell Pit 6th Edition unit) So named for the propensity of the chief Moulder, Throt the Unclean, to attach and fuse together whatever bodyparts he can find. In battle, Throt will often unleash this miserable and screeming tide of flesh upon his enemies, letting them drag, squirm and shuffle their way towards the foe.

Trolls of Hell pit: (Source: WFB White Dwarf 310: A Guide to Hell Pit 6th Edition unit) There are plenty of hungry Trolls wandering around the wastes north of Kislev. Clan Moulder is only too happy to give these Trolls a home, and sometimes an additional limb.

Warpgnaw Verminlord: (Source: AoS Forge World) Warpgnaw Verminlords are demonic servants of the Horned Rat who burrow through the realms of Chaos to create the tunnels of the Horned One's realm. In battle they will transport whole coningents behind the enemy lines.

Wolfrats (Bloated Mutants): (Source: WFB Armies 3rd Ed. + WD310 Hellpit 6th Ed. + Monstrous Arcanum 8th Ed. unit) Though members of Clan Moulder often claim to breed rats the size of wolves, it is rare indeed for them to supply other clans with the largest and fastest of this breed.

Chained Ones: (Source: WFB End Times IV Thanquol lore) Warriors of the warlord clans captured by Clan Pestilens during the many Skaven civil wars. These soldiers have been subjected to all manners of harm and disease and only the toughest survive, often used to help drag artillery pieces into position.

Frothing Giant Rats: (Source: WFB Lustria 6th Edition unit) Descendants of the original Clan Moulder broods brought to Lustria, these rats have survived the diseases of the jungles and become something altogether more deadly.
