Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Sid Meier's Civilization VI

Relic and Enigma's Mayan Civilization
Potential Bugs
I'm now playing a game with this mod and it seems that a bunch of the civ's abilities don't work or have certain quirks.

It seems you can't buy science district's buildings with faith even though it says you can. The unique science district also doesn't seem to be affected by the +1 science it should get from the Government plaza (got a Campus-Holy Site-City Center Triangle giving +3 science from adjacency, completed the diamond shape with a G.Plaza but only the holy site got the +1 yield, campus stayed at +3).

Finally, with the wonders, are they giving the extra growth? City tooltip doesn't thinks so, it only shows the +20% from Magnus and the +15% from the Hanging Gardens. They seem to be getting the bonus production from Campus and Holy Site though, I think (is it 15% if you have both?). The bonus yields they give to the campus and holy site also don't add to the adjacency, they seem to give a +2 bonus that shows on the tooltip as "other bonuses" (or something to that effect), but maybe that was intentional on your part.

To add on to this the holy site fills a district slot even though it shouldn't.

... Actually the new update seems to have broken the mod entirely. The game throws a "One or more mods couldn't be loaded" error as soon as the new version is enabled.

This is also happening to me (and I have no other mods active, just this one).

Yeah, I uploaded a weird version that I was using to test stuff with, entirely my mistake. I've since uploaded a new version that addresses all the previously fixed bugs. There were weird inconsistencies in modifiers between the last few updates that screwed everything up.

I'm still getting the same error reported by circeus after the latest update.

Weird, it's working fine on my end. Can you send me Database.log? (from my games/civ 6/logs)
Just use google drive or something

Hm, it's telling me that a requirement is missing - the requirement I use is from the Macedon DLC. Do you have that enabled? If not, I can rig up a hotfix to fix it probably

Ah that was the problem. No i don't have that one DLC, nor the nubian and a bunch of other ones.

Sounds good, I'll rig up a hotfix in a bit and upload it. Shouldn't take much doing.

Cool, thanks for all the work!

Hi guys, I just tried a game only with this mod and can confirm that for some reason it changes the map labels drom english to portuguese. Also, for some reason, with this mod active you can see in the tech tree the venus observation project, even if you can't use it. I'll post some screenshots for you to see:
First, a game without any mod: https://ibb.co/jVY2D9R
As you can see, the label is in english (river)
In this second one, only with this mod: https://ibb.co/bmKqsGJ
you can see that now rivers are labeled rios, portuguese for river. This is not an isolated case of a Scythian civ receiving a unique brazilian name, because you can see that oceans are now oceanos. In this same game I could see the venus observation in the tech tree: https://ibb.co/P9qz0vq

I've looked everywhere in the mod files and can't see why it happens, although I know almost nothing about coding and modding haha. But it kinda keeps me from using this mod because, being a native spanish speaker myself, I play like to play games in the original language and like consistency in that regard haha.

But anyway, it is not a big bug, and the mod is really good. It's fun playing maya or against them, so nice job!

I'm having the same issue as the previous poster with this mod changing some things to Portugese, such as mountain names. However that is only a minor problem, apart from that everything sems to work OK.

Ok, for the people that like mne has the problem where this mod changes the map labels to portuguese, I have the fix (as the authors never even looked at this issue). So, what you want to do is follow this path:
steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\1290422833\Core\Civilization
Once thereope "Expansion2Text" and delete the line ('LOC_NAMED_RIVER_BALSAS_NAME', 'Balsas'),
Then save. Now, the mod won't translate the labels to another language, as that line seemed to cause problems with the localization.
