For the people wanting to change their teleport colors all you need to do is unpack the main file and update the files for the race you've chosen. The files that need to be changed will be the one that changes the teleport code for the actual species and then the teleport colors. Using the starbound unpacker and packer makes it simple to accomplish. If you're knowledgable enough, you can figure this out.

The downside for this is when you update the file in the workshop mod folder all npcs of that race have their teleport changed as well.

The reason for me being vague on how to do this is because I feel it infringes on the author. Some♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥can take parts of the mod and upload on their own. Don't be that guy. The reason for me pointing this out is to show that it's possible to change the colors depsite what race using this mod.

My solution: make the teleport beam a universal code for the player, not the race. Essentially, patching a new code for the player. The races can have still have the modded visuals they have now. This requires adding the same patch set under a new variable . The new variable being the player. I'm pretty sure there is a file type designated for this ingame already.

If you've browsed the workshop, you've might've noticed reskins for the manipulator. Those, I think, are under the player files somewhere. Not sure who, but someone did make a reskin pack that can change the visuals of the manipulator ingame . Elithian Races has something like that too, but requires all the upgrades in the manipulator. I think contacting people who did that might bring some info to how you can change the beam colors without editing outside of the game
