BUG REPORTS
If you encounter a bug during gameplay, please take the following steps.

1. Set up the conditions to reproduce the bug.
2. Save and Exit.
3. Install this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1271877744
4. Launch the game, trigger the bug. Exit the game.
5. Send me the resulting warhammer_expanded_log.txt file from your Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II along with a short description of what happened.
6. Please include a link to a collection containing your mod list.



When is "right before reproducing the bug?" If the bug is with an unlock, then send the logs from when you do something that should unlock the rite. If the bug is with a rite effect, then send the logs from when you trigger that rite.

Hi!

First, I'd like to thank you guys for this mod, can't play without it. :)
I found a small bug, it's not the triggerable kind, so I'll try to explain.
It's the rite for the chaos faction, that creates Chaos Cults in several major settlements, increasing chaos corruption by 4.
There is an effect_bundle/effect key row that gives the chaos corruption:
wh_main_ritual_chs_cults_corruption/wh_main_effect_religion_conversion_chaos_events_bad

The effect's scope is set to "faction_to_province_own_unseen" and because of that every Chaos Cult's corruption values are added to every province, not just the ones with the Chaos Cult.
There are 4 Chaos Cults in my lands (Altdorf, Akendorf, Middenheim and Kislev), each of them giving +4 chaos corruption, resulting in +16 chaos corruption factionwide.

With "faction_to_province_own_unseen" effect scope:
(There is +2 chaos corruption from the chaos invasion event, that's why it's 18).

Changing the effect_scope to "region_to_region_own" seems to solve this problem, the chaos cults will only increase chaos corruption by 4 in the provinces they are actually in.

After changing the effect's scope to "region_to_region_own":

I think the "faction_to_province_own_unseen" scope works factionwide, not regionwide.

If this is intended then I'm sorry for bothering you, it just seems to me like a small typo in the effect scope value.

I had the same issue in my Vampirates campaign. Chaos enacted the "storm of Chaos" rite, it shot chaos up everywhere. Then all Chaos was wiped out (Peace? event) and Chaos KEPT CLIMBING. I don't have any mods that do anything with rites so I'm pretty sure it's this one. It's unfortunate because inevitably it will break the campaign if I wanted to paint/go long victory.

When I used the Empire Policy rite as Karl Franz' empire, there was a slight darken of the screen, but no dilemma actually came up.

I have a fourth Dwarf hero called "Dignitary". Their icon is a white square. No idea how to recruit them.

Also when play "Bloody Handz" and chose "Effigy of Gork n' Mork" then whatever you chose,
The effect is the same(so weird), The strange thing not just only, The buff "like charge bonus or melee bonus" not effect with any range unit. And both button of icon are white square. I post some pictures here, Please take look.

This mod is unfortunately conflicting with the new changes of SFO to Wood Elves. They now have 8 rites, which means that not all are shown, depending on UI scale. And the "Loec the Trickster" research is no longer detected (since it too was changed) so the corresponding rite can never be unlocked and used.
Just an FYI, no idea whether that's a big thing or not, but better to know and not do anything than not know in cases like these. :D

I seem to be getting +9 or higher chaos corruption from events but don't have any events that would cause this

While the ai Kislev faction has the rite Endless Winter active, and the ai silvania enters their land the game crashes to desktop. The rite was enacted a turn before slyvania entered. I see no warhammer_expanded_log file created but there is a Script log with numbers at the end, is that the file you need? How should I send it?

So, sorry I dont have the log file, but it really doesnt say much I think in this case. I am playing empire, with a smallish mod list. Repeatedly, in the course of the last five days, I have had a crash on a turn that has 1. a pirate island resolution, and 2. a military alliance offer. I have tried all types of denying, accepting etc for the offer. The last file to change is always !vandy_lib_log which leads me to believe that the issue is an npc choosing a rite that crashes the game.

I* have not chosen a rite in several turns in every case, and I do not have one available.

That conclusion is correct because the game actually continues as normal on some reloads, so troubleshooting which mod this has been has been hard. Because, I have been disabling mods, and renabling, and attributing the "working" of the game to me doing something right.

NOW my conclusion is that just sometimes the game will RNG a new rite choice for an NPC and allow the game to continue.

There *have* been issues with MCT since patch day, and occasionally the log file notes this towards the end, but it is not consistent.

In any case, my personal situation is I have a small SSD hard drive so I need to uninstall TWW2 to be able to load New World in the next couple of days (the beta launches on Tuesday). So, apologies for dropping a hot potato into your lap and then leaving the scene...

ok, an update. It was NOT Old World Rites. I "assumed" that the vandy_lib file was yours, but nope, it is MCT. The modder named it after you, "his personal hero" which confused the hell out of me.
