The List
this is the general suggestion and list of thing i'm ethier working on or plan on doing eventually

-frist order of buisness defensive armies, i'm curently making a civic that should make planetary invasions actually challenging thought its really more intended for pvp as the AI tends to struggle against it, also looking into orther ways of getting defensive armies to spawn as the game's current logic for them is just stupid and making them buildable is just asking for trouble...

-second synth ascension are getting necron since they loose access to all the other armies and can't build machine armies <-( that's something i'm aslo looking into seeing if i can change) kind of an other sight on my part see 2.1.3

-thrid spess mehreens are comming, more specifically LOYAL frist founding if you're wondering why 1 they are planet type specific so each planet has their own legion, 2 their icons are much much MUCH easier to do on 34x34 scale (looking at you emperor children) and 3 legions only so NO SUCCESSORS there are just too damn many of them, 4 no choas as thats pure HERESY see 2.1.3
the only heresy i'll put with around here is #magnusdidnothingwrong as it is factually

Question: Last time i checked, this is not Warhammer 40K armies mod, (tho that would be pretty sweet) this is Mecha Armies mod so why put restrictions?🧐:-\

the only reasons i'm falling back on 40k so much is because its well fleshed out and i'm the most familiar with and whenever possible i don't use 40k
(see dred, mercs, colonial marines, mobile infantry, XCOM, tanks, vertebrids mechs, doom, (+robocop, spartan 117 soon) psi/pet titans and all the mechine empire armies ext)
And in the case of the upcoming chapters i 1 just alrady had the icons 2 it worked out because 9 planet types for 9 legions and 3 its just a bit of experementation for planet type only armies as i don't know what's going to happen when i limit an armie to a planet type in the scripts, will it just build them on that planet ? will it only let the fight on that planet type ? will it just not work...

Anyway you're concernes have been noted and if anyone has armie ideas i'm allways willing to hear people out

oh thoses restrictions are for my own sanity, just take a look at those 9 chaos legion icons and try to imagen replecating them on a less then 34x34 scale, i'm not touching that with a 10 foot poll

Wouldn't it better to do an one generic Chaos Space Marine with the easiest icon to do, the many pointed arrows at all sides with the skull in front then not at all?

see now that's a good idea and something i hadn't considered, tho probably without the skull, i'm re-using that and the space marine code on Legion of the Damened (same requirements for Inquisitors but without spiritualist ethic) wich means any games currently using this mod that have space marines built will change into LoD instead of just disappearing wasting time and reasorces...

Anyway chaos don't know how i'd go about puting them in requirements wise, give me some time and i'll probably think of something.
Aslo might make green lanters crops along the same stats as mobile infantry for psychic tho that just a consept so won't be for the next update as i'm basicly done and just wating on translating it, so it should be up this weekend. (normal disclamer no promises)

Are we allowed to offer new troop suggestions? If so maybe helghast soldiers from killzone or chimeran troops from resistance

yes, i'm allways open to hearing suggestions and i actually already made a helghast army icon a while ago when i was thinking aout moving mobile infantry to the citizen service civic but never got around to doing it.
chimeran could use Morphogenetic Field Mastery tech and be a varition on Xenomorph Army, maybe use the skull for the icon(?)
so maybe in 2.2 i'll give them a try and see, thats all i can promise you...

yeah the hot fix is just a carry over from 2.1 where fortress world spam in multiplayer was common and now with the enocomie and planets being reworked i'm looking into balancing them for the proper update.
I'll etheir drop their stats down or raise their cost and maintenace (or do a bit of both)
in any case a balance patch is comming...
Might I suggest combine units from the game half life 2?
