A better way to play the original. 3/5 stars.

Similar to Dam It: Complete, this is another visual facelift for Dam It — an official L4D1 campaign that was never released. Dam It: Remastered features level design that's essentially unchanged from the original beta, but now it actually feels finished. There are no more obvious glitches, no voids of nothingness, and no untextured models. The gameplay has been rebalanced to be more fair, and there are now cutscenes for the intro and ending. There's Survivor dialogue, too!

However, some of Dam It's old problems still remain, and I think Dam It: Complete is a slightly better version of the same concept. Many areas look great now, but others look horribly out of place. I'm also very iffy on the changes to the finale, which now has an excessive number of zombie spawns and a new gauntlet at the end.

Still, if you're interested in trying Dam It, this isn't a bad option. It strays a little from Turtle Rock's artistic vision, but at least it's fun!
