it seems like the techs are bugged and once researched they reappear there also missing icons

@Trigger - I didn't manage to replicate that bug, and by the looks it looked like a bug on the Realistic Ships mod part, not mine.

Are you still getting it?

so that could be the problem but i really wanted to use these with your mod is there any way for you to make them compatable with your mod

Should be finally fixed, I decided to split-off the Realistic Ships compatibility into a separate mod.

Hi,
I have a bug on cruiser with the missile stern. I should have a torpedo slot but i don't have the weapon slot.

Graphical bug: mamallian cruiser hangar core section places both PD on the right slot, leaving the left one open.

I have been implementing this mod into my own rendition and have found numerous little mistakes. Most of them are with utilities on ships not being the right size or count (cruisers should have a total of 8 medium utility slots, yours all have 6),(Schiffjaeger has 1 small utility instead of 1 medium as indicated in the change log), and one missing weapon component (missile-hanger-cruiser core is missing its PD). I hope this is helpful

Thanks for the report on the missing cruiser utility slots, that was a huge mistake by my part. As for Schiffjaegers, they received a nerf, as documented on April 21st changelog. And, Missile Hangar Cruiser Core is working as intended being 1H+1G weapon slots, if you want PDs, you should stick with the standard cruiser Hangar Core that has 1H+2PD weapon slots.

Also, in case your wondering why some utility slots are L instead of M, or things like that, it can be because of some other factors, examples being Bulkhead sections having a bigger type of utility slots. and sections that have H slots also having a bigger slot, this one being a balance change to make strike craft seem more appealing.

That's not a rule of thumb though.

For the past few days i was wondering, why some event now give HUGE ships instead of the regular old frigates.
Today i narrowed it down to your mod, and to be perfectly precise, the global_ship_designs you override.
As long as these overrides are active, events that grant ships will instad grant whatever was created last it seems, most of the time its one of the "bosses" like the Void Demon or the Psionic Avatar. If Gigastructural Engineering is active, it is the Behemoth Ship instead.
Removing this file fixes it.

It looks like the corvette picket section has it's PD slot replaced with a small slot. Using the version released about 20 minutes before this comment was posted. No other mods, Stellaris 2.6.1.
