Charge Bar & Fusion of Flash Suggestion.
Hi,
I tried the mod a little bit, I killed grall ( level 14 and closed ).
I really enjoyed it on Veteran difficulty, & I hope the autor will read this topic.
I distributed +2 in Vitality, +2 in Focus & +1 in Dexterity per level.
While doing so I used 3 skills: Void Barrage (6 points), Fusion of Flesh (6) & Insanity (5).
I'm using Void Barrage on RMB.

I love the fact that the bar charges fast. It makes me think that for lore the guy/girl is using dangerous magic, which brings near the brink of dementia, but giving great uncontainable power.

As now the Charge Bar gives:
-50% to 0 Less Mana Cost,
10 to 0% Cast Speed,
0 to 10% Attack Speed,
Damage reduced by 0 to 10%.

I thought that something as following could be a bit more close to the lore I suppose this character has:
10 to 0% of Mana ( 100MP=10MP/s ) to Mana Regen ( lucid mind ),
0 to 10-25% Cast Speed ( getting euforic, losing control ),
0 to 10-25% Attack Speed ( getting euforic, losing control ),
0 to 10-25% Damage Taken or 0 to -(10-25)% to All Resistances ( ignoring damage, corrupted or demented mind )( this may go against melee nethermancer build, I have to think about that, though a passive skill could change this, by lowering it ),

As a gift by some sort of Dark Lord from where the Dark Magic comes form, or the Dark Magic its self, cap values are active only when the Charge Bar is full ( as the Embermage ), and remains locked for 5-12 seconds ( 12 is the Embermage, don't know if the modder can change this as well ).
Drawback: Since you're a humble human, not a Dark Lord or God, if you don't return rational through Fusin Flesh, you suffer a 10-25% loss of your actual HP & MP, and the Charge is lost.

[ By 10-25 I mean that it has to be tested to define the balanced amount, and obviously not every value has to be the same, there can be 25% mana regen, 15% attack & cast speed, 10% damage absorption. Theese are only suggested values].

This leads also to a minor change to the Fusion of Flesh.
Prior the numbers, I'ld like to add: what do you think of renaming it simply Flesh Fusion, or Mind Balance, Concentration, Restoration, or something with Mind & Flesh...

As it is:
N* Health Recovered in 1 second,
N* to Health,
N* to KnockBack Resistance.

I thought about changing it to:
N* Health Recovered in 1 second,
N* Mana Recovered in 1 second,
N* to KnockBack Resistance.

As a plus, I also thought about an other little thing for Void Barrage: remove the 1 second cast time & make it instant.
When I use this skill I can see on the action bar that a 1 second cooldown is active after cast, leading to a lower cast speed less affected by the cast speed bonus.
Since with all the changes, the mana cost isn't reduced ( to any skill ), an instant cast for a higher cost seems legit.

What do you think ? & especially, what does the autor hink about it ;-) ?


I'll keep playing a bit, to test the other skills...
