does this class, and its starting weapon, the ritual scepter, use focus to add damage (such as with wands and staves?) or str, (such as with ever other kind of weapon)?

i am very interested in trying this class out as it seems the closest to a necromancer (at least that i can find on the workshop on my mac), but i suddenly realize i dont know which stat to focs on... it does a lot of physical combat, yet it is also very much a mage.

anyone know?
