Guide to using Resourceful 2 with the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack/ New Frontier Pass DLC
This following guide is for users of the New Frontier Pass DLC (specifically the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack) to get this wonderful mod to work properly!

In \steamapps\workshop\content\289070\1369684991, find the following four files:
NEWImprovements.xml
NewRes.xml
NewRes_Icons.xml
NewRes_Text.xml

Open them in a text editor. I recommend Notepad++ for its simplicity, but even Notepad will work. You will be deleting all of the lines that have "maize" or "honey" in them, as well as some surrounding lines that relate to these resources. I will list all of the individual lines below if you would rather simply follow a checklist. Please remember to save after you delete the lines, and remember that you cannot make these changes while the game is open!

Thank you SO much for posting this! I am not a modder, and this is easily my favorite mod to enhance game-play. My one attempt to patch another modder's work after the release of GS was an abysmal failure. Thanks to your detail, even my incompetent self could make the necessary changes.

Can you post the download to these files so you don't need to spend a lot of time editing them? Are you going to make the mod compatible by default at some point? Having issues with getting the mod to work with multiplayer unified play

It takes a couple of minutes, not "a lot of time", to edit the files. As to your second question, already answered by the mod author in the comments section.

I don't do multi-player, so can't help you with that.

I dont know what I did wrong with the two attempts prior to using the above post to remove the lines advised but it worked this third time.

I've made a filebin for these 4 files. It is a temporary download link. It will not work with any future updates to this mod, as opposed to the guide above, of which the only part that is expected not to work with future updates is the line numbers.

You will still have to replace the files in your \steamapps\workshop\content\289070\1369684991 folder with these files for it to work.

i got mine to work after doing this file edit. it looks daunting at first but just remember to just scan for the words Honey and Maize and you are good to go trying to find it all :D

Thank you for the good work.
There is a patch that someone else made but it kills another mod that I enjoy. Hopefully this fixes it.
I did notice that some of the lines are off but I don't know if it was something I did and I was able to figure it out anyway.
Note: do a search for "honey" and "Maize" after to ensure you didn't miss a spot.
