EFW Weapon List
Below is a list of weaponry included in EFW, including names, tech levels and their ingame descriptions (which should be rather informative!). I abide by my previous intention of letting players discover which weapons they like, thus I won't be posting full "stat cards" of them :winter2019happyyul:

========== NEOLITHIC LEVEL ==========
===== Bundles of Rocks =====
A bundle of rocks quickly made from larger rocks. Suitable for throwing.

===== Slings =====
A specially made set of leather or linen straps linked together for launching small projectiles. Can launch suitable ammunition at nearly 100km/h. Capable of causing lethal internal injuries through armour using momentum.

========== MEDIEVAL LEVEL ==========
===== Firebows =====
A greatbow that utilises special arrows capable of igniting enemies and terrain.

===== Crossbows =====
A special set of bowlimbs mounted onto a stock. More accurate and powerful than any regular bow, but requires significantly longer to reload.

===== Bola =====
Two heavy weights connected by a tough chain. Designed to be thrown at a target, wrapping around their legs and entangling them for a period.

===== Explosive Crossbows =====
A crossbow that utilises special ammunition that explodes on impact. Care should be taken when using this weapon.

========== INDUSTRIAL LEVEL ==========
===== Smoke Grenades =====
A favourite of urbworld enforcers and rimworld raiders alike, these smoke grenades are about as potent as a smokepop belt, but come with a self-replicator. Thrown grenades explode, dealing minimal harm and sending minor amounts of shrapnel into the air. Their smoke is harder on the lungs upon release, but can be quickly recovered from.

===== Sawnoff Shotguns =====
Similar to the standard pump-action shotgun, this shotgun also follows ancient design patterns, but is only effective at the closest of ranges. Anything caught in the blast, however, is unlikely to remain standing afterwards. Extremely short range, minimal accuracy, very high damage.

===== Tranquiliser Rifles =====
A simplistic rifle that fires chemical tranquiliser darts into targets using compressed air propulsion. Can penetrate a small part of armour. Does not affect mechanoids.

===== Slime Launchers =====
A strange, catapult-like weapon originally produced in a rimworld biotech lab. This weapon fires giant globules of slime, causing minimal harm but rapidly constricting the body, resulting in difficulty moving, breathing or seeing. Mostly useful as crowd control, accompanied by more lethal weaponry.

===== Depleted Uranium Rifles =====
An exotic weapon often used by the drifters of the rimworlds, depleted uranium rifles hit fairly hard and are reasonably accurate at short to medium ranges. Their real strength lies in their ammunition; when a target is hit, the bullets will cause serious burns or even ignition, in addition to piercing through much more armour than conventional rounds.

========== SPACER LEVEL ==========
===== Gauss Crossbows =====
The perfect combination of simplicity and technology, this crossbow is designed to fire magnetic bolts at speeds excelling 22km/s (Mach 64) with minimal recoil. Extremely powerful, very accurate, exceptional range, cripplingly low reload speed.

===== Cryorifles =====
Extremely rare rifles manufactured by glitterworld militaries and mechanoid hives, cryorifles use unique ammunition that, upon impact, releases large amounts of "cryogas", instantly freezing the target for 10 seconds. Targets who don't die immediately are left with hypothermia as a result. Highly accurate and often deadly.

===== Rocket Vulcans =====
Most often used by glitterworld artillery squads and mechanoid siege units, these fearsome weapons fire a near-continuous stream of miniature rockets, piercing enemies like a standard bullet in addition to exploding. Extremely large clip and improved accuracy, but debilitatingly heavy. Best used as a suppressive or crowd control weapon.

===== Mindbreakers =====
A weapon of dark origin and even darker nature, this pistol-like machine is designed with a sealed barrel specially made to focus psionic frequencies to strain the mind of a target to breaking point. Damage to the brain is possible when using such a weapon, and those of weaker will can die immediately from its effects. Inflicts mild frostbite wherever it strikes, although this is the least of the target's worries. Be wary, as weapons of this variety are often used by mechanoid hiveminds for maximum damage to biological systems.

===== Plasmathrowers =====
Oftentimes used by urbworld enforcers and mechanoid hives when encountering dangerous biological lifeforms, plasmathrowers act similarly to flamethrowers, but with the capability to melt through skin, flesh, bone and carapace. Short range, but very high lethality.

===== Mechadart Rifles =====
A powerful rifle used by glitterworld assassins that fires special darts using a built-in air compressor. These darts are capable of piercing plasteel, and inject neurotoxic mechanites that will seek out and destroy neural networks within both biological and mechanical lifeforms. Once injected, the mechanites cannot be stopped, and will eliminate the target within 20 seconds. Use with extreme caution.
