Templar Paladin - Suggestion
The Templar Paladin is a Templar based around supporting and protecting allies, but still dishing out decent disruptive damage. Like the Psion, they use Blades and Psi Amps, but they use the Amp as the Primary weapon and the Blades as a backup.

Squaddie - Instead of Momentum, Paladins get Pillar. Kills with Volt also now grant Focus. The rest of the abilites are the same.

Corporal - Stasis or Clarity. Clarity gives the Paladin a Mindshield Effect, and allows them to cure Mental Effects (like those that Solace prevents) on a single ally with a two turn cooldown. Both cost 1 Focus.

Sergeant - Stasis Shield, Inspire or Psi Link. Psi Link gives the target 5 Shield Points and + 20 Will for 2 turns. If the Paladin is damaged or affected by any Impairment (Stunned, any form of Battle Madness, etc.) the Link will end, as well as if all 5 Shield Points are depleted. All abilites cost 1 Focus, and Psi Link has a 2 turn cooldown that starts when the last Psi Link ends.

Lieutenent - Fortress, Bastion, Channel. Bastion improves Pillar. It now summons 2 High Cover Points with a Low Cover Point between the 2.

Captain - Psi Bomb, Psionic Network, Remote Fuse. Psi Bomb is the Codex Ability, although it would disable all Primary Weapons instead of just those that use Clips, since a lot of Enemies don't use Clips. 3 Turn Cooldown. Psionic Network is an improved Channel - Anytime Channel activates, any friendly unit can pick it up to provide the Paladin with 1 Focus. Remote Fuse is a combination of Fuse and Remote Start. 3 Turn Cooldown. All abilities cost 1 Focus.

Major - Scorched Earth, Stunning Strike. Scorched Earth is an upgraded Fortress - All Enviromental Effects on allies or in the Enviroment (like a Poison Cloud) are cleansed when the Paladin is adjecent to them or in them.. Stunning Strike is an upgraded Version of Stun Strike. Target an enemy, knocking them back and potientally destroying thier cover. It also has a 50% of stunning the enemy for 1 turn, 60% if the enemy hits Low Cover and 80% if the enemy hits Full Cover. This has a 3 turn cooldown and costs one Focus.

Colonel - Psi Conduit, Telekinetic Field, Psi Chain - Psi Conduit is just the Templar's Void Conduit , but it can be used on all enemies, not just Humanoids. It also lasts a fixed 2 turns, with a 3 turn cooldown starting when the Conduit ends. Telekinetic Field is a returning ability from Enemy Unknown/Within, granting +40 Defense and a new +40 Will. Lasts 1 turn, 4 turn cooldown. Psi Chain upgrades Psi Link - it now grants 10 Shield points, and requires the Templar to take a large amount of damage (unsure on the actual value, i'm thinking 10?) before the Link is disabled. That is now the only way to disable the Link besides using all the Shield Points.

All abilities cost 1 Action Point besides Psi Conduit and Psi Link/Chain.

XCOM Abilites - Sustain, Shadowstep, Deep Cover, Blast Padding, Bladestorm... thats all i got.

All feedback welcome. Also yes, in case you couldn't tell, they can't Overwatch.

I do like this so this would be like a Templar Tank class instead all damage is has protection and support? If possible instead of having psi blades maybe have a blade and a shield or hammer and shield. I do like the idea I hope it makes it. If I knew more id attept it, but I dont know enough yet.

I would love some sort of Psi Hammer, but i tried to make this easy enough to make, and an entirely new weapon wouldn't be possible without actually making new sprites, models, animations etc. so i left it

Ya I figured as much. I have tons of great ideas, but im not sure how everything works yet only basic stuff. I do want to learn more if you know anywhere to do so let me know who knows maybe I can help.

There is one thing I just thought of since they use psi power. There is an ability with a custom class that give psi shields. Ill find it. I think its the rising tides or Puella something. That would fit right into this.

As far as the weapons you could always put them in later as an update right? Thats just a thought. I know it can be done its just time consuming.
