This mod is regularly updated in response to player feedback and bug reports. Usually, updates are more frequent right after a major update is released. Most of the time, these updates simply correct minor bugs or imbalances. But every now and then they have the potential to interrupt save games- especially if it is necessary to change the AI or the files used to generate GC scenarios.

Fortunately, there is a way to play the mod without risk of losing a save game unexpectedly. Take the mod out of the workshop folder, and move it to your local mod folder. This will prevent the copy of the mod you are playing with from being updated automatically. Find the location of the mod in your workshop folder, cut or copy it, and paste it into your Steamapps -> Common -> SWEAW -> Corruption -> Mods folder. You can then access it from the main menu when you load Forces of Corruption.

To apply updates, you can track what has been changed by viewing the change log. If an update has the potential to interrupt games in progress, we will always include this in the change log description. If you stay subscribed to the mod, you will get the files you need to update the game as these will be dropped in the Workshop folder. You can copy and paste these into you local mod in order to apply the patches. With the mod in your local folder, you can do this at your discretion and on your own timetable, wtihout worrying about the possibility of a broken save game.
