A Question about settlements

I just started a campaign as the Iceni and I attacked Verlamion but and all the building in the settlement were Roman or mediterranean looking. I understand if this is during Romanization period but this is the year 201 BC and Britania should not look this way...

Has it just installed wrongly or is this just the way the mod is?
