Caledonian Swordsmen / Heroes of Caledonia Historical Accuracy
Since I read this is meant to be an historically accurate mod, I thought the inclusion of these units was a bit off. Their primary weapon is a claymore style longsword and these weren't in use on a militarized scale for about another thousand and a half years until the late Middle Ages. Frankly I'm not even sure if there are swords of this size that have ever been found that date back to pre-Christian Europe, let alone lands settled by the Picts where remains are scant afaik. The existence of this style of weapon also doesn't make much sense from a functional stand point either, longswords of this kind rose as a response to heavier armor and organized warfare during the Middle Ages. The Picts were notorious for guerilla warfare, a longsword would be impractical to that end. There is some archaeological evidence in the form of carvings left on stones that depict scenes of warfare where weapons like long spears, swords and shield, and cavalry with javelins may be seen. You can find one in particular at the follow link: https://news.psu.edu/story/344296/2015/02/11/research/picts-offer-historians-picture-non-roman-briton-culture

I may be beating a dead horse at this point but I also thought to point out that based on the design of this weapon, the lack of a cross guard would make for some interesting interaction with the enemy's blade and one's own fingers.
