Here is my idea to make it work with other scripts:
my_scripted_mods = {
["basic_estate_mod.pack"] = 0,
["more_war_weariness.pack"] = 0,
["vassal_kingdom_mod.pack"] = 0,
["create_vassal_mod.pack"] = 1,<-----Should I do this?
["locked_tech_mod.pack"] = 0}

Remove scripting.lua and call require("lua_scripts.mauiaw_mods"); from the main mod. I can't know if this works. Is this logged somehow?

Regarding the require. Some ingenious mods put the require (yourmod) in a generic require that will always be called. I put it in Lauratest.lua and it gets called automatically without your scripting.lua
