these two seem the most balanced, just need some adjustments to make it a actual weapon that would get added though

more or less damage?
Xpload 26 May, 2018 @ 1:17am
My idea:
+) Every 10 seconds: gain 25% of total damage dealt as health (up to a maximum of 75 health healed, health gained can go up to 150% overheal)
-) No random critical hits
-) 50% less max primary ammo on wearer (total ammo pool is now 16 rounds)

Basically, this allows the scout to periodically gain health based on how many fights he was in. It can act as a passive mad milk effect but with less overall healing. I think the cooldown of the healing should appear as a meter on the HUD, but that may not be nessecary. The ammo penalty prevents scouts from roaming off with a healing effect and instead relying on positioning with ammo packs and dispensers to heal and buff themselves.

Let me know what you guys think!

The Candy Cane is somewhat of an underappreciated weapon for the Scout. The 25% explosive vulnerability isn't all that for a class with least health. And on kills (with melee, secondary or primary weapons) health packs are dropped which can be picked up by the Scout or left for other players to benefit from which makes it an ideal support weapon.

The only downside is that it looks like a giant christmas ornament. It's rarely used by others during Christmas time and hardly ever outside the season.
Perhaps it's the stereotypical view of Scouts stealing that medkit needed most by others that discourages use of this weapon, but it's still a good weapon.

If the Bamboozler was made a reaskin on the Candy Cane then it would be a non-festive option to go with.

And if that happens, the actual Candy Cane can be tweaked to drop Halloween version of small health pack. After all the Americans refer to chocolates and sweets as "candy".

No it is not good. a small health pack is nothing for 25% damage to explosives. its not a great bonus to be 1 shot by 2 classes. plus enemies can also pick it up making it literally a DOWNGRADE in some situations. If you want to be supportive use the boston basher for increased ubercharge.:8bitheart:

Why not a stock reskin?
It just feels more likely to be a reskin to me than a actual weapon.
