Bug Reports and Known Issues
Found a bug relating to this mod? Please report it here so that I can work on rectifying the issue.

Be sure to provide as much detail about the bug so I can squash it easily!

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst this mod may cause incompatabilities with others, please ensure before reporting that the bug is caused specifically by this mod and not another. Thanks!

Known Bugs:
  • Hovering over an on-cooldown skill whilst changing stance will cause the icon not to change to the new one. The skill can still be used, however.
  • Respec mirror may be causing an issue with Source collars being prematurely removed. I am currently working on a fix for this - please bare with me!

Small error in the Cutthroat/Vein skill tooltip, the Order and Chaos descriptors are the wrong way around. i.e Cutthroat is saying it's an Order skill while in Chaos stance and vice versa.

Hi Odinblade, fantastic job, ive enjoyed trialling this class. I assume this is a bug (unless you dont like cats). When i use the multiple target skills (like blitz) it attacks the enemy but also attacks the cat.

Hunh that's weird - thought I'd fixed that! Lemme take a look and deploy the fix - should be a quick one. Thanks for reporting!

Saw that little fix, good stuff, this mod is heaps of fun and I'm having a blast play testing it.

This might be a minor mod conflict, I'm not sure, but sometimes when using damaging chaos skills, negative weapon effects are being applied to my character. My dagger has a chance to apply Ruptured Tendons and Poison on hit (thanks to a crafting mod) and sometimes when using Divergent Dagger, Shadow Rush and Shadowfang, these effects are hitting both me and the enemy.

not sure if its any of my mods that are in conflict or if its a bug on your end, but some skill books that i already have learned show on the vendor tooltip and in my bags as not know as in i have not learned it yet even though i have?

@hedich Hey this is a minor bug and I have scripted to account for it. If you try to use the book, it won't consume it. This is because of the two-stance skills, there has to be a dummy skillbook which you never truly learn. It's VERY long to explain how it works, but rest-assured the book won't be consumed if you accidentally use it. Thanks!

Hello, with new patch( that adds invisibility option to preemptive tactics and nerf way of the umbra) all my skills that adds invisibility(chameleon cloak) have same affect as on the way of the umbra. I don't know is it because i have other mods downloaded but ...

Hi there! Without going into too much detail as to why, Invisible is a status which cannot be copied and retain its exact effects and interactions, i.e. breaking it when attacking with most skills. This means that any Invisible effects added any mods will not be broken upon attacking. For some examples, this has been flagged for both my Spectre class and Helaene's Wyldfae classes.

This means that in order to create skills that grant Invisibility, they need to use the same Invisible status from the base game code. Subsequently, to code the 1-turn Invis, I had to create flags which remove the Invis statuses if any Umbra stealth skills have been used that turn. Any other Invis skills from mods will have their Invis removed at the end of the turn if you have been granted Invis from any Umbra spells the same turn. I added this to the tooltips to help inform that those spells will remove any forms of Invisible.

I can add an exception rule, see Umbral Cloak as an example, for each form of Invisible, but I would need to have it on a skill-by-skill basis, I can't code for each and every other skill mod which uses Invisibility. What I will do, however, is add an exception for Chameleon Cloak and Invisibility Potions, so that their Invisibility is retained, even if you use an Invisible Umbra skill that same turn.

At the moment, you may use Chameleon Cloak normally and have its Invisibility retained, provided you do not use an Umbra skill which grants end-of-turn-removing Invisibility.

Does this all make sense? I appreciate it's a bit rambly :steamfacepalm: As you can probably (or hopefully) tell by now I am very committed to making this mod as balanced and enjoyable as possible, so I'm constantly looking for ways to improve it. If I can come up with a better way of handling end-of-turn Invisibility removal, I will certainly implement it.

Pretty sure that, when using Way of Umbra out of combat, it causes the next invis you use to end on the end of a turn even if it's supposed to be a full-turn invis.

Not sure what might be causing this but whenever I switch stances (Order to Chaos, and vice versa) the skills in my toolbar just disappear.

Hey, there’s a setting in the options menu do automatically add stuff to your skillbar - can you see If skills is checked please? Let me know if this isn’t the issue!
