Realistic Gun Tweak

Details of The Tweak
For those of you guns nerds like me, jk who are interested in the detailed changes, here's some, some not mentioned are either too insignificiant, prone to change, same as vanilla, or maybe I've forgotten to include, lol

Pistols
P220 & Gloak 17
  • Modified based on real world P220 and Gloak 30 both with 0.45 ACP ammunition
  • Slightly increased base damage 36 -> 38
  • Clip size decreased 15 -> 10
  • Standing accuracy increased and crouching accuracy slightly decreased
  • Increased weapon kick
  • Slightly lesser weapon range damage drop
  • Lower moving spread
  • Higher rate of fire

Desert Eagle (.50AE)
  • Modified based on real life counterpart
  • Base damage 80 -> 100
  • Lower damage drop off due to its slightly higher bullet velocity 470m/s
  • Clip size 8 -> 7
  • Slightly nerf firerate
  • Very high spread per shot (rapid firing by right will have poor accuracy, still testing)
  • Increased weapon kick

SMG
Uzi & Mac-10 & MP5
  • Modified based on real life counterparts of theirs
  • Uzi the most accurate tier 1 gun, lowest damage output
  • Mac-10 highest damage output, lowest range and accuracy, highest recoil and spread
  • MP5 is still the middle ground between both Uzi and MP5
  • Increased in weapon vertical kick

Uzi (9mm)
  • Real life cyclic rate, 600 RPM *Vanilla 960 RPM
  • Base damage increased 20->30
  • Slight accuracy buff
  • Slightly lesser weapon range damage drop
  • Clip size changed to standard 32

Mac-10 (0.45ACP)
  • Real life cyclic rate, 1090RPM *Vanilla 960RPM
  • Base damage increased to 28 to justfiy the ammunition type
  • Spread per shot increased
  • Slightly more accurate than vanilla
  • Clip size 30

MP5 (9mm)
  • Slight base damage increased 24->25
  • Clip size 30

Assault Rifles (5.56x45mm and 7.62x39mm)
M16A2, Scar-L, SG552, AK47
  • Modified based on their real life counterparts, AK47 is modified based on AKM instead
  • All ARs (assault rifles) have a standard magazine size of 30
  • All 5.56 ARs got the same base damage
  • Increased vertical weapon recoil
  • Slightly tighter spread of the spray to compensate for smaller bullets in a magazine
  • Higher DPS but lower damage output per magazine as compared to vanilla ARs
  • Increased penetration

M16A2
  • Changed to 3 bursts rifle
  • Lowest damage drop off because of her high muzzle velocity 930m/s
  • Standing accuracy buff
  • Decreased reload duration
  • Crosshair tighten speed buff

Scar-L
  • Full auto rifle
  • Lower damage drop off next to M16A2, her muzzle velocity 870m/s
  • Decreased reload duration
  • Lower rate of fire (about 625RPM for now)

SG552
  • As high damage drop off as AK47 thanks to her slow muzzle velocity 725m/s

AK47 (7.62x39mm)
  • Base damage nerf 58 -> 55
  • Changed to real life cyclic rate 461 -> 600RPM
  • Slight buff in standing and crouching accuracy
  • Nerf in accuracy crosshair tighten speed
  • High weapon kick

DMRs (Designated Marksman Rifles)
Mini-14 & G3SG/1
  • Mini14 now fires 5.56x45mm ammunition instead
  • Increased weapon kick

Mini-14
  • Base damage 90 -> 50
  • Increased firerate
  • Clip size 15 -> 30

G3SG/1
  • Base dmage 90 -> 96
  • Clip size 30 -> 20

SRs (Sniper Rifles)
AWSM & Scout
  • Both capable of one shot a common infected
  • Increased weapon kick
  • Time between shots increased, still testing though, feel like it's a client side property so changing it might not have much effect

AWSM (.338 Lapua Magnum)
  • Base damage 115 -> 250
  • clip size 20 -> 10
  • In real life, AWSM only has 5 bullets magazine size, any further than that might cause problem to the gun. Instead of realism I choose balancing here 'cause in 5/7 shots per clip is just way too little for a zombie game, feel free to share your thoughts here

Scout (7.62x51mm)
  • Base damage 90 -> 200
  • clip size 15 -> 10

SGs (Short Guns)
Remington 870 & Spas & M4 Benelli
  • Base damage increased
  • Damage drop off increased
  • Increased weapon kick
  • If it works as intended, shotguns now will be lethal at close range, but loses its effectiveness at range pretty quickly, still fine tuning

Spas
  • Clip size 10 -> 9

M4 Benelli
  • Clip size 10 -> 8

OP Top tier weapons
M60 & Grenade Launcher

M60 (7.62x51mm)
  • Base damage 50->58
  • Clip size 150->200
  • Less damage drop (same as Scar-L) because of its high muzzle velocity, 853m/s
  • Slightly buff accuracy
  • Huge weapon vertical recoil
  • By right it should be reloadable but you would need something else like plugin. If you're using sourcemod, I'd suggest you get this here[forums.alliedmods.net].

Grenade launcher
  • Clip size 1->6

Does Remington 870 means chrome shotgun and pump shotgun ? because I only see three shotguns but game have four shotguns
I mean, is this include all 19 weapons ?

Good point man, I forgot to include the name of it but it's modified as well just like other shotguns

It is good, but can you make M60 reloadable? Another mod developer named Alex already made it possible like this addon:

Also for me, the recommended Ammo Clip and Reserve would be 200/600

Is there a way I can reduce the M79 from 6 back to 1? Doesn't feel right but everything else is perfect!
