Seems the description for Market Force tech is actually the name of the tech... and it has no description Lol.

i'll see what I can do.
Also it seems the edict to force a tributary counts empires you haven’t even discovered yet.

I find the idea of a 'Sentient Defence Grid' very interesting, although this current iteration is somewhat... dull? It just feels like this civic 'should' change the entire playstyle, similarly to Determined Exterminator, Driven Assimilator and Rogue Servitor, and yet currently it makes for a rather uninspiring experience.

No idea how much of what I'm going to write can be achieved through modding (although there are a couple of existing mods that do some of this stuff for older game versions) and frankly this could probably be an entire mod by itself, but how's this for a rework:

///
'Sentient Defence Grid'
Designed to oversee its creators' interstellar expansion, this Machine Intelligence was soon given full control to reorganised all fleet operations for 'a safe and securer society'.

Effects:
Start the game with a Constituency-type subject of your creators' species. They can expand and use diplomacy normally but must pay 25% of their minerals and energy. They will share their technology and contribute 50% of their Naval Capacity, but will call for aid should they be attacked.

Must use Defensive Wars only. Has the "Preemptive Strike" casus belli on all empires that rival them or their Constituency.

The Defence Grid was not made to handle planetary administration of Organic Pops. As such, crowded planets taken over by the Defence Grid are instead ceded to the Constituency in exchange for Influence.
