Deadening Map03 Finale (tanks on pedastals) - opinions?
First, if you're having trouble with the bots look for the "fight!" grafitti and tuck yourself and the bots into that corner by the side pedastal until the 2 tank battle. It's very survivable. At higher difficult gotta get a molotov on one tank (bounce it off the back wall), and then shoot the other tank so that when one gets loose it's health is nicely whittled down already.

Okay, so now what do you all think of that kind of finale? Do you want to see more of that kind of thing? I've got a few more variations of that setup I'll try out. So far it's all very fun in my opinion but what do you all think?

Also what do you think of the way the map just ends and transitions back to the Wharf, too weird and non-L4D2? It's inspired by the way strikes end in the game Destiny, but I'm not sure if L4D2 players will be okay with it. Note that it will be less weird once I get the narrator audio put it.

i played that finale. i liked it a lot. although maybe make a chopper or something fly in before the fade when you start worrying about visuals because teleporting isnt a thing in l4d and all. but either way the campain and finale was great.

Thanks for the reply Tick. Yeah, having the campaign end without any kind of explaination for their escape is kind of weird and I don't think I'll be doing that again. At some point I'll change the end of this campaign but in truth giant chunks of this campaign need some serious re-designing.
