Q: How do I get this to work? How do I play this map?

A: Choose either single player or multiplayer. In the game lobby, change the option "Game" from "random map" to "scenario...". Then choose the file for this scenario (check the description for the filename of the most recent version). Then you can start the game.

Q: Why isn't [LoTR civilization X] represented by [AOE civilization Y]?

A: Civilization choices are based on the civilization attributes, units and bonuses, as well as their visual appearances. Check out the dedicated discussion if you want to know why certain civilizations were chosen. I have made changes to the civilizations in the past, so if after you have read through the civilization choice discussion, you have a suggestion to make, feel free to do so.
