Report a translation problem
There could be any number of reasons this could be happening. Another addon might be overriding a function that is critical to sound playback, and is mucking something up. Another addon might be playing too many sounds at once and hitting some source engine limitation. Maybe your workshop download is corrupted and is missing the sound files.
You have given me nothing to work with, and I cannot rule anything out. There may be message in your console that could give a clue as to what is happening. Why don't we start there?
