Just something I've noticed after a few attempts at single planet start playing as various factions.

The Vong and the New Republic really seem to get their asses handed to them in this campaign. Started maybe 5-6 different times and in all but 1 the NR got wiped out basically immediately. And in all but 1, the Vong did as well. And the only reason the Vong survived at all that play through was because I went out of my way to protect/defend them as Eriadu.

One thing I noticed is that the Vong don't seem to want to build any capital ships, or mass fleets.

The empire manages to stick around for a bit, but they don't seem to want to expand much.

Empire of the Hand and the Huts? (whoever the darker orange is) seem to dominate most of the time.

Anyway just wanted to share my experience/observation.
