Scenario: Capturing Kuat using land forces. Return to Galaxy Map results in Crash to Desktop

Attempted [Failed] Solutions:
1: Restart Computer / Steam
2: Reload of previous Save.
3: Changed first landed unit type / random [no] vanguard unit.
4: Auto-Resolve.

No combination of the above has yet to fix the problem. I am just going to park something in orbit and take over the rest of the galaxy for now. Hopefully an update will fix the issue. =]
