lags a lot

I have a powerful computer, rx 6700 xr ryzen 5600x / galaxy map freezes for a few seconds every few seconds, why is that? in battles on the ground and in the air - everything is fine.
what is the problem and how can it be fixed?

Houjuu Byakuren has STAR WARS™ Empire at War: Gold Pack

Have you tried setting the .exe's to win7/8 compability mode and/or Assigning the game exe in task manager to a single cpu core? (I recommend core 3) This game was made for single core/dual core, so it actually runs worse with more cores.
