Bugs/Issues
If you run into any problems while playing, let me know here! Please be as specific as possible so I can be sure to find the problem myself.

Known bugs:
-The dungeon always scales to your first entry, even after rerolling the world. (This may be an issue with the game itself)
-The Cave levels sometimes have weird seams in them. If you run across one (looks like a narrow transparent gap in the floor) and have your console enabled, it would be helpful if you could use the "room" command to figure out what chunk you're in and post the file path here.
-With Synergies, Error 300 crash to desktop on multiplayer (no issues on single player)

Ran into what seems to be a bug in the way level matching works. I started a brand new level 1 guy and ran down to about level 10 before exiting and starting a new game, rerollng the world in the process.

Level 1 of the endless dungeon was fine and level matched to my guy (level 7 at the time) but when I went to the next level, all the monsters were level 2, the floor after that they were level 3 and so on. For some reason it seems to have saved my first trip through aside from the very first floor.

I tested it again with another character, this one level 13 and went through the infinite dungeon for a number of floors until he was level 18. I rerolled the world and entered the dungeon again. The first floor had level 18 monsters but the floor after that had level 14 monsters and then they leveled up by 1 level per floor after that.

I can try unpacking the mod and mess with the save settings a bit to see if I find anything.

Wayback - Unfortunately I think that is just how dungeon scaling works. I've found a forum thread discussing the same issue, with no solution found: http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=54679
If you (or anyone else) can come up with something I'd love to give it a try, but it seems like the system itself just doesn't work the way we want it to.

Yea, just tried all kinds of different tricks to get it to reset and no luck.

Northos, I've been messing around with this off and on, and I have stumbled across the way to have the levels increment in level but also be randomized between levels. I've uploaded my version to dropbox here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/88526678/ENDLESS.MOD

It seems to be tied to making each level 'Volatile' and flaged as don't save. I kinda kept throwing things against the wall until they stuck.

Thanks for giving me a framework to work with, I'm eventually going to try and mess with making my own custom random bottomless dungeon for my own playthrough and looking at how you did things has helped a lot.

Awesome fix Wayback. Hopefully northos checks it out. I look forward to any Dungeon you can come up with.

@Wayback, your link no longer works, can you upload again ?

@Northos, have you incorporated that fix ? Given that your latest version is older than the message about the file upload, I assume you did not... are you still working on this ?

Mamba, LWMQ, I felt it would be bad form to update upon a fellow modder's page with my own Mod. Everything I had fixed is integrated into my current mod, however.

Right now I don't feel that Wayback's version really does what I want it to, though there are still a couple of things that I want to try out when I can. Although it makes the dungeon re-scale when you re-enter, it also re-scales when you go down a floor - so only the first floor actually has mobs that are your level, although they will always be your level. Part of what I wanted to accomplish with this dungeon was to have an area you could progress through indefinitely (and track that progress), so I think I'll stick to what's up right now even though it's not perfectly balanced.

Sorry if I stepped on any toes North; I am more then happy to help share any things I have gleaned over the past few weeks.

No worries. This really began as a project for myself, so I don't mind if someone can take what I started and expand it for wider use by the community.
