Shapeshifting: Definitive Edition
Balance changes for personal play
currently im looking into a few changes for the class for personal play. Im looking at the following changes:

remove CD on cleanse form and action point cost
reduce CD on all forms to 8 and remove action point cost

I found on several occasions, i was stuck in a form for two or more turns because of the cleanse form CD. (for example, use bear form to deal physical dmg but then cant hit a different mob because they are immune to physical damage.)

The removal of a the AP cost is something i feel is needed as well. I waste my whole turn shapeshifting. I feel like the cooldowns of the forms is enough to balance the class and it promotes a more active playstyle for the class. This will also make memory a more important stat for the shapeshifter and justify the fact that you are "silenced" while shapeshifted" and limited to 5 skills max.

The last change, (12-8 second CD on forms) is the one im kind of up in the air about but gives the option for "inifinite" forms if needed. Again I feel the CD of the skills are what balances this class, so this change may be a bit hit or miss for breaking the game.

Anyway, i'm writing this to ask for help.

I found the following files:

.\Public\Shapeshifting_855b5b88-4e82-bafc-0009-d449358e93d9\Stats\Generated\Data

I've changed the CD and action point cost in the following file:

Skill_Shout.txt

The changes do not occur in game. Where else are the CDs and action point costs defined?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was able to figure this out. With the owners permission, i will publish the changes.

Can I request, if it's possible and of course with the owner's permission, the removal of the silence? It's causing conflictions with other mods.
