Would it be possible for you to create a seperate version where they scale w/ wits instead?

Isn't really possible in the editor unfortunately. Someone is gonna try and bring up bard mod but the way you scale weapons and grenades in the editor is different and for some reason you can't scale stuff like that off wits
What about constitution? I imagine it'd be possible since shields scale off of them?

Unfortunately not. The way the editor works is like this: weapons are scaled in the editor by manually typing in a requirement e.g.: “Intelligence 10”, which determines what stat it scales off. Skills on the ither hand have their scaling determined by a drop down menu. All the options on the dropdown menu make skills scale by either str, fin or int. A grenade is an item tied to a skill so it can only scale with those stats
ohhh thank you for the explanation.. I wanted everyone to atleast benefit from the grenades not just those that use/have finesse. Thanks anyway!
