Minibosses SNPCs[Resident Evil 5]
Chainsaw Majini. (Ideas)
This is just ideas to make him act more like the real game, I tested this addon! I also have RE5, I even finished it..

Chainsaw Majini:
1:
-Music. (This would be awesome.)

2:
-Can attack Players/NPC's more often if they are behind him. (He waits just like the basic "1st attack" and then he turns back and attack. Going back to idle for a few secs then he starts running again.)

3:
-Fix the bug when he tries to jump from a building. (He oftens jump on the same building and
waits like..4 seconds, then retry 2 or 3 time and finnaly falls)

4:
-The sounds you named "attack1" & "attack2" are when he chases (runs) a NPC/Player. Those are not attack sounds.

5:
-The sounds you named "attack3" & "attack4" are when he stops for 2 seconds, staring at you, then launches his chainsaw. (The first attack) So those sounds does NOT play when he attacks.

6:
-In the real game, when he gets up after being stunned, he "swings" his chainsaw behind him
(on the right) and gets ready to run again. (You can often see this animation. The animation looks like the one seen when he gets up after dying 1 time. He stands up, back away, take the "run" posture and he starts to run.) [Animation seen on the second video link at 2:24]

7:
-1st attack should be when he stands still and watches you for like 1,5 second, then he starts to swing the chainsaw. (He makes noises when he does so.)

8:
-2nd attack should be when (NOT when he died and gets up again) he stands still for like 2,5 second while laughing, and then he launch the chainsaw. Going back to idle animation for a few seconds, and then starts to run toward his target.

9:
-When he gets up after dying, he should always swing his chainsaw. Instead of doing the original run animation. Being slower, and his chainsaw will instantly kill you after touching you, no need for him to do an animation to do so. And he should laugh while swinging it. (Like every 4/5 second.)

10:
-The "climb over" small "obstacles" animation?

11:
-The animation where he jumps very high to go somewhere. (I didn't see it, I haven't tested it but I know his ragdoll contains that animation.)

1. Don't know.
2. Turn on "Ignore players" or "Disable thinking" and spawn him. Then stay behind him, turn off "Ignore players" and "Disable thinking" and attack him.
3. They try to jump when cant get to you by navigation or if no navigation here at all.

6. Never seen this.
7. I make first part of this animation (where chainsaw play some sounds) much faster. Also this attack move him on some distance and i decide to use it as attack on big range.

9. He laugh but not too often. I know that he must swing always, but its impossible to do, because he will lost ability to move on navigation and just will stuck.
10. Nope.
11. He use one jump animation and it's this animation.

1: You maybe could add a command to enable & disable it? :3 Just like you did with Patriarch.

2: I saw it, then what about he waits a little bit, then attack? Or even a command to enable/disable faster attacks?

3: Oh.

4: (First video link) at 2:37, those 2 "groans", you named them "attack1" & "attack2" in the files. (Via context menu, I checked.) But, those sounds are NOT attack sounds. Those sounds only play when he chases you, or when he is stunned.

5: I got it wrong. When he is stunned, the "attack1" or "attack2" sound should play, but not too often, like every 1,3 second.

6: (Third video link) at 2:24, he often does this animation.

7: Maybe a command to enable/disable the full animation? x3

8: (Second video link) 13:31, I was talking about that one.

9: Then when he gets up after dying, make him play the "Walk angry" animation.

10: Mkay.

11: Oh.

Ideas/Suggestions bonus:

12:
-Could you add a CVAR to modify his damages? Or do like the executioner, when he hits you. Chainsaw Majini's damages removes.. like.. 85 health point and push you away (not too far and don't make you fly), just like when he makes you fall in the game. Random damage? Sometime he kills instantly, sometime, he puts you in DYING mode (85 damages, if you can't make the dying mode)..Like in the real game.

-Console command to enable his behavior where he chases only the host. (Like in the real game, in expert, he ignores the bot.)

14:
-Can you get the correct swing sound? The one you're using is the one from RE4.

15:
-(Second video link) 13:31, when he gets shotgunned, can you make this animation play if you shoot too much in his chest? And add the animation that if you shoot him too much from behind, he "falls" a little, then turns back and chases the one that made him "stunned".

16:
-"attack3" & "attack4" aren't attack sounds, they play when he stands still, looking at the player for a few secs (1 second or more) then he does the first attack animation.

17:
-Can you make him stunned more longer?

18:
-Can you put correct sounds for him? When he dies, there is one sound that plays, and that sound is the one when he launches his chainsaw with his first attack. "die5" is not a death sound.

-Add the last laugh. He has 2 laugh.

-The metal effect on the chainsaw when in the bersek mode?

21:
-Can you make him attack doors, instead of opening them? The first time you encounter him, in that little "map", there are doors. Most peoples don't see it, but, when he gets to a wooden door, he breaks it down. (doing the 1st attack animation)

22:
-"attack6" & "attack7" are NOT attack sounds, they play when he jumps from buildings. (So use them when he jumps.)

23:
-"die2" is when he gets stunned. It doesn't play when he dies in the real game.

24:
-"die3" & "die4" is when he gets uppercut in his bag-headed face. NOT a death sound.

25:
-"die5" is one of his sound when he does the 1st attack, "headshot.wav " is also one of the sound for his 1st attack.

26:
-knockdown.wav is when he gets heashot.

27:
-Add intro animation? Like the one seen in the swamp level, when he activates his chainsaw.

Sound extractor get sounds with names like "1.wav, 2.wav ..." so i can't know situation when sound must play. I can give you folder with all his sounds and you will rename them for correct situation. Also i don't want to play with animations and CVars too much. Anyway i agree that rage damage too low and i will increase it. And i forget about second laugh. I will add it. All that i can say: you ask too much. I spend too much time to create this mod and now don't want to think about modding. All that i can do now - fix some things.

This is all sounds. First sounds (like 1 - 11 maybe) sounds that used for damage in game.

maybe an electrical pole entity that when shot whenhes near will fall and damage him a hefty amount. which in the game was at the beginning of the first encounter with him

I'm not sure if you want me to rename all the sounds of the zip file you gave me and make a new zip file with the correct sounds?

I'm not a coder on GMod, only on Roblox.

Edit: If you want me to rename all of the sounds and make a new zip file then sure it'll be fast.

Okay.

15.wav = One of his sound when he jumps.

16.wav = I don't really know, use it for a pain sound.

17.wav = I don't really know too, use it for a pain sound.

18.wav = It's one of his sound when he gets stunned by headshot.

19.wav = This sound plays when he dies for the first time, so the fake death animation.

20.wav = One of the sound he makes when he runs. Make it play every 0,6 or 0,8 second. He also make those sounds when he is stunned, so every 1,2 second or 1,4.

22.wav = One of the sound he makes when he stops moving, waits a few second and attack. So that would mean his first attack. [But you made him attack fast, so either add a CVAR or add it as pain sound] It also plays when the stunned animation ends and he's about to run. (so make it play when he recovers from the stun.

31.wav = Another sound he makes when he gets Uppercut/Somersault by Chris & Sheva.

32.wav = This sound plays when he uses the second attack. It also plays when he is in "rage" mode, swinging his chainsaw.

33.wav = This sound also plays when he uses the second attack. It also plays when he is in "rage" mode, swinging his chainsaw.

34.wav = This plays when he really dies. But in this addon, he uses the fake death animation instead of the one falling, so it's another small bug.
