Ambushed caravan unable to leave
First of all, I really love this mod.

The new "You gotta pick up the stuff and move off the map" option is nice. It really adds a feeling of, I'm raiding ruins. However, I think it caused a problem with my caravan, who was ambushed, from being able to leave.

The green border to be able to leave didn't show, I couldn't reform from the world map, and I never received the "Caravan Battle Won" message to be able to reform there.

I'm running mods in this order: HugsLib, Replace Stuff, ResearchPal, Blighted Alert, Incident Person Stat, Animal Tab, Deep Ore Identifier, Hospitality, More Harvest Designators!, Misc. Robots, and Real Ruins.

Update to v1.2.1! I posted an identical issue on the main forum. The update fixed the problem for me. :-)

Please check mod version, v1.2.1 should resolve this bug. If this bug is still present in 1.2.1, please report here, I'll check what can be wrong.

It's still happening to me... What a shame. My pawns have been surviving raid after raid, but they are at their limits...

Do you have a green border around the map? Now it's intended way of exiting map (before you leave you can right click on items to grab them with you when leaving). If you don't have the green border, it's a problem. If you have the green border, but prefer instant caravan reforming, you can switch to the old mode in mod settings.
If you don't have the green border and the settings switch does not affect the problem, please tell.

So the only way to collect things from the ruins is to manually load every single item individually into pack animals? That is _extremely_ tedious tbh.

It's nice that there's an option for it, though I had a difficult time finding this post to figure that out.

I don't think it worth describing why I prefer hand-picking approach, this is just different ways of playing the game. Neither approach is "right" or "wrong", but some people like instant caravan reforming and other hate and think it's OP. So I'm not going to convince you to play without instant caravan reforming. Btw, hand-picking is not the only way of packing caravan. You can use drop pods, buffer stockpiles or more sophisticated ways of efficient caravans forming. Just not "pick everything and instanly teleport out of the map"

Ive got the problem, and my freinds too... the reform caravan button is permalocked.
The only solution that ive found is colonizing the area forming caravan, abbandon the colony... But it leave an abandonned base icon behind us, taken later by squatters.

Is that problem really on purpose ? Will a fix be possible later ? :(
Can you create an option that prevent abandonned bases/colony/destroyed bases to leave an icon behind it ?

In mod settings there is an option to enable vanilla caravan repacking. Check that.

It's on because ruins event should be a challenge, grabbing only what you need most under a constant pressure from enemy forces, choosing between grabbing another mech serum and retreating safely. And if you can instantly grab everything on the map after defeating initial party, there is no challenge at all.

I think a sort of countdown system could be better. After each raid the countdown is increased by 3 minutes for exemple. When at Zero, you're able to leave... Until an another raid comes. +3 minutes
What do you think about it ? :P

That's pretty good idea. At the first glance it covers all issues I described before, so I'll think a bit more about this approach and most likely add it to my to-do list. Thanks a lot!
