It is very simple: It will actually show the icon on the map (like quests usually does), which will always be available to accomplish, give a persistent button to actually look at that location at any time and it will also cooperate with "Fog of War"-Mod much better. It is really tedious finding pristine locations under the FOW... and most of the time, it is even impossible to pinpoint the location without cheating in DevMode (teleporting around on the map to reveal bits of the location suggested to find the pristine ruin)...
