Please post the log here. Most likely it's mod conflict. My mod adds "reform caravan" button on the world map (the same way as you usually form caravan in your home settlement).
If you don't have it there, it means that some other mod for some reason removes it (probably as unwanted side-effect).

I'm also having the same problem, instead of there being a reform button it says "ForceExitAndRemoveMapCountdown." and I can't leave via map edge either. Playing on 1.3, I have a ton of mods and my game is pretty scuffed in a lot of ways but it's at least been functional so far right up until I tried to leave some ruins and found that my pawns are completely trapped there. I didn't do much manual organizing of mods so I'm not sure if I've got a load order wrong or if something is just totally incompatible or what.

Cool, thanks. The log could not provide much info for this particular issue, but the most valuable info there is your mod list: it's relatively small and I think I can try to find source of the conflict. The only additional question is: does the button always disappear? Or is it sometimes there and sometimes not? Or probably it is always there, but inactive?

The button has never been there, all that appears at the bottom left of my screen when I click on the ruins is an info box with header "Ruins" and description "ForceExitAndRemoveMapCountdown." I appreciate you looking into this.
