so, does this mod work with all the scs trucks?

yes
Hi there @rookie_one. First I'm really digging this mod, so thank you. I am seeing something weird in 1.38, though. Didn't this support the OF K100E? For some reason, even though the engines show in the truck browser, I can't seem to actually select it in the buy screen (just shows the default Cummins). I switched priority, but that didn't work either. Logs don't show anything, so I thought I'd ask if you had seen it before. Many thanks for the great work.

Noprob, happy to help
One more I just found, but I have the sneaky suspicion this may have to do with 1.38 and the gear changes. I've seen this with the Anthem and the VLN so far. The auto gearing is really weird. It likes to start out in A12, and you kind of have to fight with it to get it down to a more reasonable gear. It's freaking me out. If you see this, lemme know. I may put in a bug report to SCS. Thanks!

it's due to the logic change in 1.38. It happens especially with XE packages engine(and the Econodyne and Maxicruise engine, since mack use a logic similar to the Volvo XE package for these two rating groups) mostly since they use a lower shift limit above 900 rpm(the XE specs call for the engine to run above 1000 rpm at all time, and under 1500 at all time until the kickdown switch is engaged).

SCS know about this, but for now there is no easy way around it and i'm not willing to change the RPM settings because of that bug. That said instead of flooring it straight when you start, try starting from a standstill with only a little throttle and graduallly depress it until you get to full throttle. It should start in first that way.

I noticed that, too when it started happening with the k100, with a cat 540 (not sure the model exactly), which I thought was interesting. Feathering at the start seems to help. Good to know that they know about it, I had a feeling it was related.

To be fair that change as been annoying a lot for me, especially since in economy mode the kickdown just don't happens when you floor the throttle after 1.38 update
That's fair. I'm relatively new to it, and I'm sure every patch brings it's own set of adventure for you guys. If I can help in any way, feel free to let me know. I greatly appreciate the engine pack though, because wading through them all is daunting. Top notch, my man.

@mattx3 Wait for next update, it was fixed in the ETS2 open beta (yep, it still in open beta) and the person I talked to at SCS confirmed to me that they found the issue and fixed it, so next update (the one for Idaho) with some luck will contain the fix
