i really liked the map, the settings in a middle eastern country, but i feel like the layout is hard to learn, and the map lacks in term of movement, every place you go there is a wall or crate to block you, making it hard to rotate between the sites, there are some windows which confusing and when you try to move through them, you get stock. there is also the idea in the map that the map encourage close combat, i don't know if it was intentional or not, that i feel a little bit lower the skill cieling (tell me if you think something else). overall, the map is very beautiful, i really like middle eastern theme maps, and the map is still more or less balance, by counter strike maps standards, what i think you should do is that you will open a little bit the some of the enternces to the bombsite for better navigation by removing some walls (like the one i think is called short A), remove some crates that are in the way in most close areas (like in the small way under bombsite A), and open some of the windows so they could help as a flanking roots.

another small change for the map theme is to change the T playermodels to l33t crew playermodels if you want the map to be middle eastern map, or if you want it to be more of a caribain theme you can change the T playermodels to pirates playermodels, just to support the map's theme.

hope those tips/ideas would help you to create the map and to make it better.
also, the map is more advance then every map i had worked on.

@guyblue gaming | {LINK REMOVED} Do not worry, I have read your feedback at that time, but out of personal reasons the whole project had to be halted. Thank you for your thorought feedback !


Meanwhile I returned to mapping in way this summer, but this project is still-on-hold out of timely reasons and so I got a smaller new experimental project going on right now, Nero (Wingman), feel free to check it out :)

PS: Not really sure when the wip on Genesys will be resumed, but it seems like it will be a really tough one as it stands right now.

thank you for sending back. that shows that you're actaully taking the work serious. if you had time to return to a massage about your map that i wrote a year ago. whenever you can, get back to your work on this map.

P.S: if you want, you can check one of the maps i worked on. i need people to give me suggestions, a spiecally on de_tunnels and de_almadina.
